PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The Elbow song is definitely uplifting but with caviats.

It was sung by the cast and used at the end of the last episode of the Doctors soap that ended on the BBC.

It was used in that to signify that although the program was over, 'life' would still go on at the surgery and they'd all be happy.

Take that as we're now playing York away again and we're CITD or it's been a blast in the public gaze and we carry on as normal.

I'm taking the latter view.

I think you’re overestimating the cunning and complexity of @tolmie's hairdoo videos.

If it’s apocalyptic for the PL and we’re cleared of all charges they might not leak it.

They could release it, put the statement out and say they’re consulting their legal team and making no further comments.

The best time for that course of action would be a Friday evening. No further PL comments or statements until Monday morning when the hurricane of bad PR has blown itself out a little bit over the weekend and people have the actual weekend’s football to talk about instead.

If I was in the unfortunate position of working in the PLs Comms team that’s what I would advise.
Or, in the event of a negative outcome, the PL may break the embargo and leak a spun and biased version of events to the Sunday Times.

Me too.
Just hope we are not going to get policed on here about what you can and can't like.
Sad times if so
the amusing thing about that is that over half the charges are none co-operation charges, so according to that we have been found guilty of the main charges and then some of the none co-operation ones lol

Perhaps I'm missing something, but Tolmie's cryptic positivity seems to attract equal hysteria to anything remotely negative

I'm certainly not falling for the "He can't be too specific for fear of losing his source" line of thinking, especially as we've just belittled Kieran Maguire for something quite similar

Not doubting that he might know a few people within the club, but wasn't it Tolmie who suggested that City were sending a warning letter to certain critical journalists?

Cue 50 pages of inaccurate speculation
