Trump is the immediate issue in the US but underneath there's a really fecked up country where kid's futures are predetermined by neighbourhood.

it's not about individuals, it's about the perspective of the country. There are many great people in america, a friend of mine is marrying one in a few months, but on the world stage they are sadly all tarred by the same brush, particularly whilst there is little apparent dissent direct towards shitgibbonBut, most of the posters on here are smarter than that, right?

You are focused on international events, but most Americans couldn’t find Ukraine on a map, would have no idea it was in Europe and think Article 5 refers to either the U.S. Constitution or is a new K-Pop group!!

Additionally, Trump has conditioned the MAGAts to not believe anything they read or hear that doesn’t come from him or one of those in his close orbit, and especially not the “Lamestream media!” This means propaganda is getting a much wider forum and acceptance than it should, especially with the already low information, low IQ crowd.
America is a big ship and Trump and his Right Wing mafia (most of whom are barely known and operate behind the scenes) are the iceberg…and the boat needs time and space to turn, but it’ll hopefully get there in the end and not be the Titanic, even though it feels like we are not only going to hit it, but all go down with the ship!
We have to let the institutions that protect us do their thing…IF they are going to do their thing! If not, then we reach a different phase of play and other actions might be required.

The majority of the United States of America did not want a black woman as president. She’s way more qualified, way more intelligent & way more suited for the job. And there was an increase in percentage of black people voting for him. The highest vote in fact for a Republican since Bush in 2000.

The apparent lack of opposition is part of the Shitgibbon politics strategy. In a normal news cycle the opposition would get the chance to respond to a policy change the next day, rallies and protests could be organised for the weekend following.
