Results of 1894's Fan Survey (Page 11) - 5,159 Supporters Took Part

City fan groups have got together and formed an alliance.
Another City Matters Rep is refusing to meet the club.
1894 have had a huge response, in the 1000’s, to a season ticket and match day ticket questionnaire.
Discussions about a planned protest are being held on City fans forums and in private amongst City fans.
Momentum is building.
Well done.

I hear that argument alot but if seasoncards were closer to Value Gold prices or 2011/12 prices then it would surely persuade many to buy more for their family or stay on.

I've lost track of friends who have given it up due to cost rises.

Richest league and clubs doesn't equate to richest fans. I've come close to knocking it on the head this season and last. Massively regret moving from Value Gold to regular prices.

If it’s not a silly question, why didn’t you just go back to Value Gold, once you regretted it?

Stick it in your trouser leg.

On a serious note.

Keep the banana uninflated, roll it up, and tuck it down your jeans next to your waist. The stewards won’t know any different.

I’m sure if any banana protest is organised the club will brief the head of security to brief all the stewards to look out for and to confiscate the inflatable bananas.

Then again, the fan groups could tell the club there is going to be a banana protest during a certain match, and the club can tell the stewards not to confiscate any bananas, and to let the peaceful protest inside the ground continue. I’m sure the club would like to see the level of support for the protest inside the ground.

Either way, unless the club start listening to the fans properly, and start rolling back the way they are treating the fans, there will be protests against the board and dare I say it against Khaldoon in the future.

If there are fan protests before the end of the season, then Khaldoon will have to address that issue in his end of season interview as long as Chris Bailey asks him a question about it, which I doubt Chris Bailey will. All hypothetical I know.
The best way to get the club's attention is for as many as possible to come off the cup schemes.

We are going the same way of the Rags. We will have FC City next. If this is the way Mansour and Khaldoon want this to go then so be it. In 20 years time our fan base will be totally changed if our leadership continues this track.

The window was about a day to do so and I was unable to get on it. Demand exceeded supply.

Previous Value Gold members don’t get priority to renew over any other season ticket holder.

If you’re still interested and the criteria is the same as usual next season, you’ll almost certainly be able to get one.

I remember posters on here getting slaughtered when they first questioned the treatment of the fans by the club. That included me. Ungrateful bastards, we were told, etc. Now we’re no longer ungrateful bastards, because the vast majority of City fans now feel the same way about the club and how it is treating the fans.

The minority have now become the majority.(the DIRECTORS should be worried about that)
Absolutely agree with you on that mate, I started a thread on here about a year ago regarding a potential protest and got absolutely torn to shreds for it.

It's as if it's taken a few bad results on the pitch for people to realise it's not all sunshine and rainbows off the pitch

I was involved with the Football Supporters Federation over 20 years ago and we said at the time, get 10-15,00O fans of all clubs marching from the PL’s HQ to the FA HQ and the suits may well take note.
But fans from all clubs are too parochial and “I won’t march alongside Scousers / Spurs / Pompey / Geordies / Gas Heads”etc (apply whichever is applicable to a specific teams local rival)

And the football authorities and clubs know this and love it that fans will never plan and organise a meaningful mass protest against those running the clubs and running the game.

The sooner fans realise that their real enemies are not Scousers / Cockneys / Geordies / rags / Brummies, but those running clubs and the game the better.
We have far more in common with our former Lancashire cousins down the other end of the East Lancs Road than many on here would care to admit.

The days of tribalism in football are nearly over, before long the people watching Manchester City week in week out wont have any ties to Manchester and they may even see us one week and the rags another week.

I doubt we could muster a protest, I suspect the club would just use CTV to track down the protesters and whip their ST's of them and sell them to tourists to hurry their plan on.

Not everything done for us is in our name.

You’d think the FSA would now organise a boycott of all PL matches and PL clubs on one weekend, with protests held outside every PL ground. They now have enough support amongst the fans from all 20 PL clubs to do that.

I don't think that there are enough genuine working class supporters left to make a difference mate.

I think they wouldn't do it for fear of being embarrassed when the boycott was largely ignored which would challenge their authority / ability to be seen as the voice of the fans.
Look what happened when City fans boycotted the semi final. Sure, many did boycott the game - but we sold out as fans who never would get the chance to go snapped up the tickets.
Was that a successful boycott?
Yes it received widespread media attention but ultimately the organisers wanted swathes of empty seats to ram home a message to the FA. The place was packed to the rafters, leaving the FA with nothing to worry about.

I wouldn’t want to protest with anyone who’s only there because we’ve lost a few games. It’s opposed to be about stopping more Blues getting priced out.
