Good player. I like how he's regularly looking to promote the ball forward and seems frustrated when there's no outlet for it.
 
Genuinely think he’ll win our player of the season. It’s both a positive reflection on Khusanov and a negative reflection on the season as a whole that a January signing could win it. He’s the only player I actually want to win it. Make it happen I say. Only other possibilities are Gvardiol and Haaland? Nah, just give it Khusanov.
 
Love this guy so much. If these are the sort of signings Viana is going to pull out then we're gonna be just fine. Has everything you could possibly want from a centre back. Hard as nails, rapid, leaps like a springbok and quality on the ball. The first name on the teamsheet already for me. If he's on the shortlist for POTY he'll win it because the entire nation of Uzbekistan will vote for him but at the moment so am I!

if Stones, Akanji were fit, many would say Khusanov needs to wait 1-2 years before Pep gives him chances and playing time and lets not throw him in the deep end to crush him.

what is great he is not comfortable (yet) at our slow paced football and you see an urgency on him to get things done and that makes him stand out from the rest. you would want this type of urgency from Foden, Bernardo going forward but we get none of that.
 
Whoever scouted him has unearthed an absolute gem. What is he, 21? Realistically he’s only going to get better. Very hyperbolic, but he has the abilities to be a generational defender.

If he keeps this level up for the rest of the season then definitely.

Just goes to show is all we want is the players to give it their best as simple as that. After 5 minutes of hell he has been our best player.

And ridiculed by the media and pundits,the lad has what it takes after his debut against Chelsea,show me a defender who hasn’t had a fuck up in their playing career early on..
