We are building the biggest hotel in Manchester and a fantastic new stand and fan area, yet anybody in country that hasn’t seen it in person would not have a clue that there has been an spade in the ground.

We see almost daily updates on the new Wembley of the north.

we will NEVER win the hearts and minds in england , that is my point do you really believe that dippers, rags, tarquins will believe any positive media that is put out by us or anyone else, it just simply wont happen, the fact is in the grand scheme of things england is a tiny place and the media output in england is tiny, because its all we ever indulge in we think its the prevailing opinion and it just isnt and anything we put in the british media wont make a jot of difference to the idiots who read the daily mail or listen to talksport.

You only have to look at today like you said with the daily update on the 'wembley of the north' about how brilliant its going to be and all the morons buying into it, despite no evidence as to how its going to be funded, where they will play in the meantime, how it impacts the playing squad, how come you were skint yesterday but building a 2bn stadium today and all the other glaring questions that need answering but the idiots lap it up because they need to believe the bullshit, that is why we will never win hearts and minds no matter what we do , because you cannot fix stupid.

That might be a valid point - but staying silent is far worse.

How can a company CEO not give any interview to any media in 10 years ? It’s mind boggling.

The fact that Ratcliffe can spout bullshit on multiple topics to all his friendly go to journos and it’s swallowed by their supporters is great PR and perfect crisis management a few hours after a demonstration at Old Trafford.

what would you rather have tho a ceo who presides over an unprecedented reign of success while staying silent or a ceo who is media visible as the club is a shambles, ratcliffe is just an older version of mike ashley, he can perpetuate his bullshit all he wants for me and let the idiots lap it up and talk their shit and ill sit here smiling and looking at my reflection in the trophies and brilliant football (this season is an exception and even then we are still miles ahead of them)

Before we start handing rosettes out to our board it’s worth remembering that we have been waiting for 2 years to find out if the we will be relegated over their actions.

Look at the coverage Utd will get today over their new stadium design. It will be all over every media platform and television station for days.

Meanwhile our secret hotel and stand is half built and being completely ignored. When it’s completed it will be compared unfavourably to the future OT plans. That’s disastrous PR in my book.

You don’t have to be a Mike Ashley - you can be a competent CEO and still talk to the media and bang the drum for your organisation.

Ratcliffe is a first class **** but he has played the last 2 days perfectly.
 
All this, over the road, is an easy way to fund losses and stay within FFP. If the dippers got £50m for “thinking about” a new ground years ago, imagine what the scum can write off with their “plans” (which have already been done by the looks of it) for a circus tent and jewel encrusted shovels. After all, they have form for it with Covid and Scruffy Jim’s investment write-offs…

I would disagree. The interview is a disaster, not for what he said but the fact that he did the interview at all.

Ratcliffe does the big interviews and makes all the big decisions from cutting meals for staff to publicly stating which players are not good enough. So, what is the point of Barrada or Wilcox? What do they do apart from agree with what ever Ratcliffe says or suffer the same fate as Ashworth? Apparently, Ashworth went because of ‘chemistry’. Or to put it another way, Ashworth had an opinion and pushed back.

For all the talk about appointing a best in class management team you have Ratcliffe micromanaging everything and that is no way to run a successful club.

The interviews were just to change the narrative. There were major protests on Sunday - all that seems a long time ago.

Today all reds are back on board whilst scruffy Jim is sat in the offices of Sir Norman Foster telling the world about the new stadium.

Utd will never be successful on the pitch with Ratcliffe running the show. Every sports venture he has entered into has been a disaster.

But he is winning the PR push. Nobody that interviewed him challenged the nonsense he was peddling, so the narrative was changed.

The PL would be well advised to announce City being completely exonerated while the nation joins together in praise of Jim and celebrates the end of unemployment in the North as well as a rebirth for Manshoonited.

The telling part of the interview for me was when he said he wants them to be the most profitable sports team.

So that's ripping everyone off, trying to get freebies and spending as little as possible on the team.

And this is different to the Glazers how?!

Difference is they've brought in a titled Englishman, so it'll keep people onside but it really is no change.

Everything they say and shout about is all in the public domain. Look at all the videos they provide us with for future entertainment. From Ronaldo to van der Beek to Antony to Rashford to Mainoo. Even when they claimed Casemiro was better than Rodri. In a short while we'll all be replaying everything they've spouted today and laugh at it and then throw it back in their faces.

But, it's like pissing in the windin the wider world.
Who in the general media, has challenged Scruffy Jim about this "pie in the sky project", when he is continually cutting corners and penny pinching ?
Our main hope is Scruffy Jim himself. The BBC treat him like some sort of visionary god.
