So much to question on this.

1) where are the funds coming from
2) where is the land acquired to build this
3) what is this “south Manchester regeneration project” that is continuously mentioned by Jim
4) why are they “floating” the segments of stadium down the canal? Where are they being built to throw such a claim

No one has asked the Glazers if they want Sir Jim to build a new £4bn stadium for them free of charge, without their permission!

Maybe they don't want to carry on taking the piss out of united fans!

It’s very odd they own the majority of the club yet there wasn’t either of the Glazers there at the unveiling of their biggest infrastructure project for decades.

Why was this not held in Manchester as well, if they didn’t think the swamp was the best place to hold a press conference there’s some very good event space in the city centre.

They are also making daft claims that this new stadium will have to largest indoor covered area on the planet. So it will be bigger than Boeing’s factory in Seattle then?

Last of all, we are being told it will take 5 years to build. They aren’t stating when any building will start, probably because they haven’t got a bank or financial institution onboard to give them the money. This crappy cgi video will be used instead to fudge their accounts to buy players whilst no building actually happens.

They are waiting for people to come up with the funds bud the ploy was to sucker folk in into believing that is was for the good of the people the good of the uk economy when in reality its for a club that aint got a pot to piss in and needs this to get them out the shit free of charge.

They talk about the jobs this will create, what about the ones that will be displaced to St Helens when they move the freight yard and all the other businesses that will be displaced to accommodate the new stadium and all the housing they want to put up round it.

Why would anyone want to go and stand outside a football ground on a non match day as well if they think it’s going to bring all extra visitors to it. This is where City’s owner had the foresight to put an arena in that can host events 7 days a week to compliment any hospitality offerings. Hotel Football next to the swamp is over £600k in debt so it’s hardly a destination people want to flock to in its current form.

They hoping it starts this summer!

While the government are looking to cut 5/6 billion in disability Ratcliffe asking the government to start the redevelopment the purchase of certain land then clean it all up before they even start the stadium! the fcuking cheek of these rag kunts! Mayor of Manchester backing it all the way and getting paid a fortune to pull the strings!

Have they said where they will play for five years ?

A few sound bites that appeared on the SSN banner this morning, courtesy of JR (the bloke's an idiot)

This stadium has served us well for 115 years, ( yes 115 ycmiu)

Fact checked. Opened in 1910, but he has obviously ignored the years when it was bomb damaged and couldn't be used.

The North has won 10 CL's. "The North ffs, he means the North West but ignores the fact the Dippers have won most of them.

London has Wembley, and this, that and the other etc. Again ignoring the fact London is the capital.

If Rags need a new ground then just build it. It is nothing to do with those other things and more people in "the North" hate them than like them.

They are basically declaring themselves bankrupt through mismanagement over a prolonged period. They are expecting a reset with financial help but how does this fit in with FFP and PSR rules, it doesn't.

Haven't bothered much with this but, just heard that it will be built "off-site" i.e; abroad. So much for creating up 92,000 jobs and over £7billion benefiting the country. Well, they will but not hear in the UK. Scruffy jim's bank balance will receive a boost though.

BBC have your say has many saying we benefited from Government Investment. No sign of BBC Verify putting the idiots right.
Great point the components must be being built in runcon to help out other cheek of same arse

Just a huge white elephant to please the mugs.
Doubt we will ever see a brick being laid tbh.
Fuck me even their model was only half finished lol

That would make it a 120,000 capacity , tell the frothing cunts our team is twice as good as theirs -and that’s a fact not fiction.
Shows you how fucking desperate they are to be noticed , a fucking JCB hasn’t even arrived yet and they’re wanking like a 12 year old with a freeman’s catalogue open at the women’s underwear section.
It was grattans for me.

"Our ground is BIGGER"

This monstrosity of a stadium is the equivalent to when your neighbor gets the biggest, tackiest SUV he can find a week after you buy a new car.

There's a chance the new stadium brings on financial ruin for United. As with most building projects of this size etc, its likely that it will cost more than they've estimated and take longer which may put United on the brink. It will certainly impact their plans in the transfer market which are already in a mess. Looking forward to more financial chaos at United.

They are looking for “oil money” in my opinion. Which will be hilarious

Old T becomes the Saudi arena :-)

The renderings scream "this is for tourists" and "we've tried to make a football ground into Disneyland."

Also why is the whole place covered in a mosquito net?
Coz the football season is played in winter and it is mostly pissing rain.

They want to keep all the people there for as long as possible. If they play 30 games a season, that is 3 million punters. If you can have them as a captive audience for a full day or even a weekend, then you can double or triple what they would normally spend.

If I had a business in the City Center, which relies on match tourists, I would be concerned about this.

Whilst very true - the unending Liverpool articles - they seem to have missed the unending x3 articles about United.

Ironically posting , or stupidity, or both.

I’d go with stupid.
