Months ago, I was actually all on the Baena train, others can probably attest to it.

But I have some friends who watch La Liga religously who showed me some of these things...
 
reckon id have most of that PSG team over our starting 11.....baring the keeper, rodri and Haaland i think most of them ae better players ....

Shows you that you are now needing not just technical ability but athleticism as well...the amount of running they got through...they completely dominatd the scousers over both legs.

I think the technical aspect was most impressive. That lad Doueu or whatever was quality on the ball, their midfield 3 aren't athletic monsters but all tidy as fuck on the ball. Their full backs are athletic demons though.

Yeah there’s 3 Ligue 1 players the club should scout at least. Cherki, Vanderson and Camara. We might go for zero of them since they are either a real full back or don’t have the La PAUSA ability or whatever the fuck the name was/ is
 
The nice thing about PSG is that they don't have big strong midfielders, just tiny little skillful players who control the game


No World class striker, just 3 wingers who keeps creating chances

No inverted fullback, just regular fullbacks with pace & skill to pose danger whenever required.

A goal keeper who is great at as keeeper and terrible as play maker.

The players interchange too and don’t pass the ball around just for the sake of keeping the ball. They actually attack and have a nice change of Pace.

Neves and Vitinha very impressive. As was Doue. I just don’t see some of our lads being able to play at the pace of that game last night. Most are goosed after 70mins including younger players like Doku.

Liverpool lost as for he first time this season they came up against a midfield that played Rondos around them for fun. Prem lacks elite technical players. Instead focusing on runners , strength and athleticism. Look at the top elite this season all the midfields have quality technical players in the middle.

Yes and Barcola is French and probably preferred PSG.

Much as we think everyone wants to play for us some players would choose Real or Barca, or if they’re German Bayern or French then PSG, over us. Mbappe turned us down as did Bellingham.

When Mbappe and Sane done some marketing thing for Nike i`m sure it was mentioned in the media that Mbappe said he never turned Pep down, he turned City down.
