We are clearly throwing the kitchen sink at Wirtz.

Rumours on Martin's Mancunian Way and LBs YouTube channel last night of £130m going on the books of Leverkusen but with £40m for Mcatee to effectively take it down to £90m.

Leverkusen want £150m from Bayern and want to sell to us but it's whether or not we can convince the player apparently.

Sounds fanciful. McAtee is nowhere near a £40 M player let alone of interest to Leverkusen

Wirtz is going to Bayern....doesnt matter what Leverkusan want....if the player refuses to go somewhere (ie us) they will have no choice to sell to Bayern.....and the rumours are that Bayern have been courting him and his father for a while now. Lerkusan wont want to miss out on 100m+ and be left with a very unhappy player on their books. Players and agents hold all the cards.

The clue is “Frimpong wears” clearly in a circle that include players and he picks up information the 93:20 boys were referring to him on the Market pod and gave him a lot of credibility

Why would Frimpong give out confidential information to the public?

He just wouldn't, would he.

Anybody will say anything these days for clicks and for clout. Take it all with a pinch of salt.

We've obviously been courting him too and even though the pull of BM may prove too great, he may want to play under Pep and be part of his next revolution, alongside the talented, young, international players we've been accruing!
Money won't be an issue and he's got as much chance of winning with us too.
I'd like to think we've got a great chance of getting him.

I take everything with a pinch of salt He’s not a member of the public as far as Frimpong is concerned they at the very least have a business relationship Anyhow I’ll leave it there
 
Speaking of TH and the non links to wirtz or camavinga (I’d believe that) he did make a comment or two about Xavi Simons which I would be hugely for. My concern pep just playing him as a winger. It’ll probably be someone like that where there are few/no links. There was a piece that came out of Germany today that he’s difficult to deal with so maybe they’re already staging his exit

Tolmie posted about Jedi mind tricks. No idea why people would take that as we are not interested or trying. That’s not what the bit from the movie is about at all.

I didn’t bring up anything about money; I was referring to your comment where you were doubting that Leverkusen held no interest in him, when it had widely been reported that they’d been in contact regarding him. That’s all I meant.
