Indeed. Although there were times during the Pearce era when I would have been quite happy not to see muchMy season ticket is £930.
The one thing City do quite well with ticketing is the range of prices for season tickets. £450-£1,100 (I think)… Although, even our cheapest is expensive compared to Germany and our most expensive normal ST is about £450 more expensive than Liverpool’s equivalent (that’s why I only said ‘quite well’ haha). But at least there is a range of prices, unlike with matchday tickets.
They should adopt the same kind of range with matchday tickets. Instead of £71-£88 which you often see for Coty home games… make it £25-£88, with £25 tickets in the front row where you can’t see the ball or the players lower legs over on the other side of the pitch, or on the back five rows of the 3rd tiers.
Covering letter to the chairman and the board together with the survey results

You used the incorrect sign off.
It should have been "Yours faithfully".
Yours faithfully

The OSC leadership? ;)12 people think tickets are too cheap? gtfo.. lol
I agree with most of the findings, but 5159 responses isn’t a great sample probably less than 10% of fans that attend games every season. This isn’t 1894 s fault and I have no idea how to get more response. It seems most fans aren’t really that bothered about driving this one way or the other.Unfortunately the club will probably think 1,159 fans out of the over 30,000 is it that hold some type of membership is not really representative.
I think it was an excellent move to do the survey but needs more responses.
3 times I wrote to PJ Swales and 3 times he sent a response letter.Well done 1894 you should be applauded for your effforts.
But in my experience the Club simply ignore anything they don’t like.
They have never once responded to any of my correspondence, which is frankly bloody rude on their part.
5,159 responses is brilliant not every City fan comes on this great forum.I agree with most of the findings, but 5159 responses isn’t a great sample probably less than 10% of fans that attend games every season. I’m similar, and I could have paid more than £58 for games, but to be honest as long as I get to 6 ish games year I’m not bothered which games they are so tend to go for those at the cheaper end. To be honest when I do go to games it’s an expensive weekend and the £10 / 20 either way on ticket prices don’t really make much difference to my overall cost.i'm curious about those matchday ticket prices. I haven't paid more than 58 for a PL matchday ticket (only doubled checked this seasons tickets). I do buy them in July which may explain it. I buy 6 every July. Plus 2 for my daughter. I then buy the odd CL game mid season. I think i'm one of the rare people that is pretty impressed by the whole process in as far as how it affects me. Much better than it used to be. Having moved to London in 1984 i can't do every game and its a long time since i've had a season ticket. Talking to people down here, they're always amazed how cheap our tickets are. They like to cite it as more "proof" we must be cheating at which point i generally make them wish they hadn't opened their mouths.

It wasn’t only advertised on here though. It was on Twitter/X as well wasn’t it?5,159 responses is brilliant not every City fan comes on this great forum.
I know, though surely more than 5159 match attending fans do and 1894 have their own social media this isn’t a criticism of them though, not much more they can do.5,159 responses is brilliant not every City fan comes on this great forum.

I’m sure a few years ago I saw a figure of over 60,000 regular match attending / season.Obviously that’s a data base held by the club which can’t be accessed but their must be a way of reaching more than 5100 regular fans.
Yes, understand all that, just out of curiosity, how many were 1894 members? Though suppose what I’m really asking is how many from outside your own data base took part.It was done in 3 days remember
3 weeks we might have more responses
Club and other groups could easily survey their membership lists. They choose not to.
I only ever sent a letter to City once.3 times I wrote to PJ Swales and 3 times he sent a response letter.
The stamps were 2nd class like though ;-)
luckily i get to stay at my mums. i tend to book games about a month apart so that i'm guaranteed to see her monthly. or so. to be fair i tend to book the cheaper ones too. I want a couple of beers with old school mates and to enjoy the day. don't need the stress of a big game.I’m similar, and I could have paid more than £58 for games, but to be honest as long as I get to 6 ish games year I’m not bothered which games they are so tend to go for those at the cheaper end. Hotel price increases the last couple of years on the other hand are crippling, and are more likely to cut down my game attending..
my experience has been that the queuing is pretty straight forward. We do the same in July but the last two seasons have been a nightmare. Queuing online for about 4 hrs to get through, than it's impossible to get seats next to each other. I think it's a complete mess to be honest
