If a Tesla buyer wanted to object to what the owner was doing, not buying Teslas anymore would be a legitimate form of protest.

You have decided to add vandalism into Trump’s definition of boycotting in an attempt to try and make what he said make sense.
Wrongly.
If I refuse to spray graffiti onto a Tesla you could say that technically i was boycotting vandalism.
