It's technically council property, and there is a total smoking ban on any MCC premises. They'd have to leave the site totally, which is impractical.

The club need to provide smoking area its as simple as that. Can you imagine any other group of people enduring the discrimination (that’s what it is) that is dished out to smokers ?

Smokers can have a ciggy, enter the stadium and less than two hours later light up again outside
The club doesn't need to provide smoking areas and if you can't survive less than two hours without a fag then that's just tough

So sick of the club ignoring me the smoking in the toilets before and at halftime is ridiculous.
the stewards do nothing I have emailed the head of the stadium security who said more or less they have tried and they just wont do anything about it

its the same season ticket holders going in there doing it every game its a joke its thick thick smoke little kids having to go in there while this is happening is a disgrace.
Its been like this since the 1st game the 3rd tier was open.

I've even seen the smokers tell the ageing stewards that if they say or do anything they will knock them out

I asked why the smoke alarms don't go off again just deflected replies from the club all while there are massive screens saying if you are caught smoking you will be banned??

Anyone got any email contacts that i can go higher to at city would be a great help.

The police are not going to arrest you for smoking. A business telling you that you cannot smoke on their premises is not a point of law, you are breaking their rules. If THEY allow smoking to continue THEY are breaking the law. It is their job, in their interest to stop it. They should be doing it. Not us.
