A quick google search shows that smoking related illnesss cost the NHS 2.7 billion per year, yet duty raised is 8.7 billion per year. Now if the greedy government gave the nhs the taxes raised instead of spending it on a war that is cock all to do with us (pick your war) then the cost aspect of your argument is blown out of the water. As for passive smoking, outdoors Is large enough for you to move away if you don’t like it.

Right, so you light up in a public place.
You don't care that you are breaking the law. You don't care about how it impacts others. You don't care that 50, 60, 100 people around you think you are an utter selfish ****. You don't care that one of those might themselves be a bit of a ****, and may one day lamp you, because, well the game wasn't going too well and they suddenly got Their craving, to deck a twat. You don't care that you might get fined, kicked out, or banned.

Individuals in society have zero responsibility, and no role at all to play in how they behave and the decisions they make. Not their fault in the slightest, really.
