I think Mick MaCarthy is still recovering from when Cyrille sprinted past him!I remember Cyrille Regis getting a standing ovation after scoring at Maine Road for West Brom.
The Leicester team that won the league never put 5 past us.The Leicester team that put 5 past us when they won the league got a decent ovation at the end of the game.
I've met many a Leicester fan who remember the graciousness of every City fan after the game, lauding them as future champions. It was that performance when their support started to believe they might actually win the damned thing.
Yeah, my bad, they put 3 past us.The Leicester team that won the league never put 5 past us.
That particular defeat was the one at start of 20-21 season when there were no crowds in the stadiums.
Interesting
I have drank in the same pub as Oliver Reed at the same in Guernsey and tbf if you asked he would defend your pint and keep it safe from anyone mine sweeping ;-)Leicester returns for the south stand went on sale this week at £30 or less. Members can buy up to 4 tickets. They have barely moved. Currently 1219 available.
After the decade of dominance we've had on the pitch, you would have thought these would have been snapped up by locals who can normally only afford early round FA Cup games.
Maybe it shows that the club has not used our success to galvanise local support.
Hopefully it might have some positive impact on pricing for next season.
(Though more chance of asking Oliver Reed to mind me pint).
I’m sure those Leicester returns will shift more quickly as the game approaches. A lot of people probably aren’t considering buying for that game yet, given that we have a 2 week break from domestic football after this weekend. The problem will be selling the higher priced tickets elsewhere in the stadium.Leicester returns for the south stand went on sale this week at £30 or less. Members can buy up to 4 tickets. Fuck me mate, there's enough of us to fill the new North Stand.Maybe City can take fans off the banned list to fill the seats.
3 1 it was, the 5 goals was in lockdownThe Leicester team that put 5 past us when they won the league got a decent ovation at the end of the game.

Fortunately, I have a season ticket, so it does not apply to me; if I didn’t , I would be completely priced out. If I were in this situation, my attitude would be that City could get fucked if they offered me the occasional reasonably priced ticket when they can’t sell them to their preferred customers, but then expect me to take a back seat the rest of the time. If you alienate your core support, you end up with this.Leicester returns for the south stand went on sale this week at £30 or less. Members can buy up to 4 tickets. They have barely moved. That Regis goal was around 1978 - well before Mick's time with us.I think Mick MaCarthy is still recovering from when Cyrille sprinted past him!
I was thinking of the outstanding display from Cyrille and his storing run when he overtook Mick from 10 yards behinds and overtook him. Cyrille was very good that day. That Regis goal was around 1978 - well before Mick's time with us.
What's the purpose of trade union blues?Very Interesting indeed.....View attachment 149802
I think they were the group mentioned a few weeks ago and the overwhelming view was to keep politics / political affiliations out of our Club. What's the purpose of trade union blues?
Is it just a load of fans who happen to be part of a trade union for their profession of choice?
Seems a bit of a strange concept.
not really as these groups exist across europe so isn't uncommon and it lends another voice to the city fans. What's the purpose of trade union blues?
