PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Genuinely, I'm in 115 south stand (ironically ) and I swear I really don't give two hoots. Just be ok as a City fan to go with the flow like we have for donkeys years. Chill and everything will be fine.

I'm with you mate. I'm not even remotely worried. I'm positive we will either be found completely innocent or at worst, will get a relatively minor slap on the wrist for some technical transgression. Nothing like relegation or any financial impact of any real note. Not even a pints deduction.

But what if I'm wrong and we get relegated? So what. We'll be back up again in no time, and playing in the Championship for a season could be quite good fun. Some players might leave, but some players need to leave. We'd be fine.

Yes it is starting to grate now.
As far as our detractors see it, there are only two outcomes here:
1. City are guilty - relegate them / strip the titles / transfer ban
2. City paid / bribed their way out of it, shocking decision that needs investigating. Money talks.

There is and has never been a No. 3 in their brains.
3. City were cleared of all charges presented.

Luckily we got them before they ran out but some behind us missed out and yet despite everything we still support the blues through thick and thin.

A points deduction wouldn’t be great news but fuck me, a pints deduction would be utterly catastrophic. Imagine no days on the lash watching City.

No way, the implications would be huge. Whatever is announced will be the final decision. Suppose they did find us guilty and we were relegated, players sbd agenrs demand moves, sponsors were to ditch us and other clubs try to sue. And then 18 months later we win on appeal. How the hell does this then get unravelled? How are damages then assessed.

Dispite what the PL say they will be desperate for this to be put to bed.
