I’d start Echeverri over Phil, Kev and Bernardo on this season’s form.

Echevari wasnt even a regular starter at River Plate and you want him to come in and start in the premiership against one of the best teams in it when we are in the poorest vein of form in a decade and in a top 4/5 race that could define our next few seasons as a club as without getting CL spots you can forget about getting the level of quality player required...

Oh and the team we are playing against is one of our direct rivals for one of those crucial spots....

Hoping to see more progress today with this new team against a very good Brighton. Faster flowing, mixing it up and putting some of our chances away.

Brighton aren’t usually a park the bus team so should be openings. They can break at pace though, so need to ensure a cohesive defensive unit.

Simple enough, if we play legs in midfield then we will win. If he plays Bernardo on the wing and Gundo in midfield we lose. If he plays both in midfield we lose. One or the other is ok but please no Bernardo at RW

Something different needs to be tried though - or do we just do exactly the same thing that has lost us HALF our games this season, and keep everything crossed for a different result?
I can't honestly can't see us 'consolidating' our way into a UCL spot.

I would start with Savio on the left, as it's been his best position in finding Erl.

And to try to get him in the game more, I would put Phil out wide on the right.
