Would that be such a terrible thing to consider? Our current way of playing clearly hasn't worked this season. Other teams have wised up to us now. Our build up play is achingly slow, and we're easy to play through in the centre of the pitch. Pep needs to adapt.
I think a large part of our problems, if not the entire issue, is the combination and accumulation of injuries, especially in defensive positions.
Had we not lost the majority of the defensive unit for large parts of the season, I’d bet we’d be still fighting on all fronts.

When did he get injured?

Apparentlly he got cut from Brazil call up due to talka with our medical team.

He's missed games recently and as far as i'm aware it was never really explained, so perhaps it's a more persistent, reoccuring injury that he can manage but the rest will help him fully recover. Ortega is likely to play against bournemouth as the cup keeper so he could have until April without a game after tomorrow with a withdrawal from international duty.

Really hope Ederson only has a slight injury rather than a big fall out with Pep.
Really can’t begin to contemplate Ortega in net for the rest of the season.
Useless, and to think people though he would be a good number 1.

He’s been withdrawn from the Brazil squad, so the injury seems real.

If Ederson is fit, he should play

Now sticking up for him is fine, he's been a big part of things over the years, but that's just nonsense.

He cost us the first match and made some standard saves in both legs. No saves that any other half-decent keeper wouldn't have made.
He kept us in the first leg you can't deny that. The mistake at the end was not just down to the keeper.

I certainly can.

He made one good save from Bellingham, but only had to make it because he wasn't off his line quicker.

Can't remember anything else special, just being wrongfooted by Mbappe's miskicks, his shocking kick and the parry straight to Diaz for the 2nd and the mad rush off the line for the 3rd.
