Hope they have a strong end to the season barring the Thursday night cup and we can all sit back and look how giddy they get.The media getting all giddy in indeed United are back and we can all look forward to September where there title challenge lays in taters yet again

That's excellent from Stefan. Hits the nail on the head. To be fair I welcome any investment which comes into Greater Manchester. But it doesn't help if expectations are unduly raised by Fantasy Island proposals.

True story: like most on here I like to revel in the rags shortcomings, but I don’t actually pay that much attention to them in general. When they first signed Hojland and it was quickly apparent that he was shit, I thought to myself “well, what do you expect when you’re buying players from MLS”. It was only a few months later when I voiced that opinion to a mate of mine, he pointed out that he’d come from Atalanta, not Atlanta.
 
More bullshit from the rag propaganda that is the media? Sinking under the avalanche of debt good old Malcolm and his family hoisted on them, laying off staff because they cannot make ends meet, in grave danger of bankruptcy, but it's ok because they are going to buy 4 or 5 new players for about £70 million each, put them on wages somewhere between £250,000 - £350,000 per week, and have a purpose built new stadium for maybe 3-4 billion that will be the very best in the entire universe.

And I thought Hans Christian-Andersen died best part of 130 years ago.
