I doubt even the club are expecting exoneration on every single charge.
Tim Sherwood by all accounts had his wrists slapped .As already mentioned, that looks like City have already warned them that anymore of their bullshit and we’ll be taking action. Could be looking into it to much but good indication that City are expecting good news.
The premier league won’t appeal they were already moaning about legal costsTim Sherwood by all accounts had his wrists slapped .
We won’t take a pinch again Khaldoon said - and if he’s wrong , he’s going to have to fall on his sword , nothing else but a complete victory is good enough. I think most of us have grown skins as thick as a rhino the past few years, it’s a shame that things are shit on the pitch to coincide with the impending result.
It’s the words it may go to an appeal that slightly bothers me , not exactly the outcome Khaldoon expected is it?
some of the charges relate to non cooperation i expect were likley be cleared on the most serious of the charges but get some sort of fine for the non cooperation charges.I’m being so naive then, because I thought based on what the club said at the time, that we would clear our name, because we weren’t guilty of anything. This sounds like the club didn’t even believe that all along …
I am more now, because after this tonight, it seems like one of the 3 possible outcomes (full non-guilty outcome for City) is now off the table. Maybe it never was on it, but I interpreted some of the positive mood music recently as meaning that might still be a possibility.Dreading the verdict. No matter what happens, it’ll be played out like a victory for both sides and some idiots won’t see past that if we’re found innocent.
Let the posturing begin.
Genuine question: why? What has actually happened, other than Sky Sports pre-empting further complaints from City by telling their pundits not to talk shit?I am more now, because after this tonight, it seems like one of the 3 possible outcomes (full non-guilty outcome for City) is now off the table. Magic Hat lying again , isnt it time to take him out , City has to do something about this.
I honestly don't understand how this approach/result could benefit the PL more than them coming out and saying "there were concerns, we investigated, the evidence showed there was no wrongdoing, we did the right thing and everything is good".

Of course, but I imagine there’s a reasonable chance we could have a problem with some of the non co-operation charges. Other stuff (like Mancini, Fordham) could still end up being time-barred, which our detractors will take as a sign of guilt even if it’s no such thing. The important thing is that we win on the most substantive charges. As we’ve seen with the APT case though, both sides will probably claim some kind of victory regardless.Isn’t it a case of there being 3-4 genuine cases to answer though?
The charges number is more superficial than anything else. It’s not like there’s 115/130 different incidents and we have to bat away each one.
Ok fair point, but that’s the way news on this will start to emerge. Do you honestly think Sky’s email and Keegan’s story are just rumours and not based on anything?Everybody please calm down! No news yet, just rumours!
I agree it's probably just cautionary but would they have sent it out especially after what spitty has said in the past if we were going to be found in breach of the major chargesPretty sure this is just a genuine cautionary email that Sky has taken upon themselves to send out to their staff to avoid being sued lol. Dont think it says anything other than that really.
We are never going to get off the none co-op bit.Disturbs me a bit that tweet, because I was still retaining some hope that we might be fully exonerated, found not guilty etc.
I was looking at that and Keegans tweet mate.Genuine question: why? What has actually happened, other than Sky Sports pre-empting further complaints from City by telling their pundits not to talk shit?
it's always a dark day at the Etihad, it's Manchester not Seattle !I’m not sure why we care what TROLLS think, but if City are found guilty of even some of the more serious accusations, it will be a dark day at the Etihad!
Even if we have co-operated?We are never going to get off the none co-op bit.
It's how it's framed that's the important bit.
