That’s fair comment mate, but thing is, I haven’t always thought that, hence my reaction tonight. I mean I knew it was a possibility, but based on our Chairman wanting and expecting a full exoneration, I thought is also a possibility we’d be fully cleared. I believed him.
Anyway, it’s not doing me any good staying on this thread tonight.

“Both sides will probably try to claim some kind of victory”.

Suggests to me that they’ve “done” us for at least some of the alleged breaches, probably minor ones. That or the non-cooperation nonsense.

Also the beginning of the drip feed confirms the day isn’t far off now.

In the APT case Sky and the BBC reported the PR spin from the PL as fact and totally ignored the Judges’ damning statement which stated the PL acted unlawfully and unfairly. They reported the case without mentioning the actual verdict.
 
It’ll all be happening soon enough, emails like this don’t get sent out unless they’ve been given the nod it’s imminent, imo. We all know what it’s like receiving many emails, just like proverbial chip paper they slip down your inbox/become a relatively distant memory the following day etc.

I think this is just Sky getting their own house in order. They have so many different people on their shows who think they are untouchable. Sky are probably concerned that if one of their gobby lot report on the outcome incorrectly (especially if City are found innocent of the most serious charges), City will go in for the kill.

If we are found guilty of the main charges, you better believe they will destroy us but then, being on the receiving end of name-calling on Sky will be the least of our problems.

I agree. I think City now know the outcome, at least in outline if not in detail.
