Well we have to start somewhere don't we? Unless we want to get right back to the very beginning. What about before the hostages taken? Or did this only start 7th October 2023?
It is shocking that innocent Palestinians are getting killed, no doubt about it. But whether you like it or not there are also innocent Israeli's involved here too. The have to start somewhere.UN workers being murdered along with journalists and innocent Palestinians but we cant criticise it for fear of Bibi and his extremist government going full scouse.
Close to 200 babies are born every day in Gaza.Perhaps the IDF gave most of the lads the night off.
Only 14 were murdered in Gaza last night. I'm sure things will be back to normal tonight though, i mean how can you eliminate everybody if you are only murdering 14 in one night ?
The ratio of innocent Israelis to innocent Palestinians is disproportionate. It is shocking that innocent Palestinians are getting killed, no doubt about it. But whether you like it or not there are also innocent Israeli's involved here too. The have to start somewhere.
The numbers have always been like this from Israel's inception. They are the definition of bullies. The ratio of innocent Israelis to innocent Palestinians is disproportionate.
Israeli civilians are not being beaten starved and ethnically cleansed from their land.
I'm really not sure if you're desperately optimistic or hopelessly naive or just blissfully ignorant.Well we have to start somewhere don't we? Unless we want to get right back to the very beginning.
I would like to see these people who were captured on 7/10 released in a dignified way, no big ceremonies and shows, just a dignified hand over. The ratio of Palestinians to Israelis can be agreed and negotiated and if there are any non military civilian Palestinians in that number then they should definitely be included.
They cannot go back and resolve this from year dot, but they can (on both sides) going forward agree to a two state solution can't they?
If you think not then we are all resigning and accepting an all out war until one side obliterates the other, likely to be the Israeli's beating down the Palestinians until they can rise up again and start over.
As I've said, the interim peace that could be negotiated is as good a place to start as anywhere.... it might stop the Israeli war machine, and the rest of the world would be able to apply pressure without it there is absolutely no chance of peace ever breaking out and Hamas will only ever have themselves to blame for taking that decision.
Not supporting genocide at all, in fact the opposite. Releasing the hostages will be a massive lever for the rest of the world to use get the Israelies to stop their bombardment. Don't release the hostages and it is most likely to continue.
Are you supporting genocide by giving Israel what they consider to be a legal response to their citizens being kidnapped?
Daft question I know but only as daft as yours.
I am not denying anything.... ask yourself... why are the Israeli's doing this? what could stop it? the innocent young people who were kidnapped. raped and tortured on 7/10 need to be released.Eh? Israel broke the genocide by violating it repeatedly then massacring hundreds of people yesterday after cutting off water, food and electricity off to them for weeks.
How can you fail to acknowledge such critical things that literally happened yesterday?
Oh okay... don't release the hostages then fine - the Palestinians are signing their own death warrants. Why were the innocent people captured in the first place on 7/10? Settle that first and then stop turning the release of the innocent hostages into a huge celebration.I'm really not sure if you're desperately optimistic or hopelessly naive or just blissfully ignorant.
Let's try my frequent question - what are the boundaries of Eretz Israel? When you've sorted that out in your head, which bits of it will be Palestinian? And how would you get rid of the Israeli settlers in those bits?
Don't disagree but if Hamas want to stop it the best way of standing any chance is as I've said.... release the hostages and then plead to the rest of the world to stop Israel from bombarding. It's an option the have.... what else can the do? Because nothing else has really worked to date has it?The ratio of innocent Israelis to innocent Palestinians is disproportionate.
Israeli civilians are not being beaten starved and ethnically cleansed from their land.
So why are Hamas, if they see this happening, refusing to release the hostages?"We are so sorry to post this.17 months on.Western world leaders decided this can continue with both their help and totally impunity".
I'm going with hopelessly naive and blissfully ignorant.I'm really not sure if you're desperately optimistic or hopelessly naive or just blissfully ignorant.
Let's try my frequent question - what are the boundaries of Eretz Israel? When you've sorted that out in your head, which bits of it will be Palestinian? And how would you get rid of the Israeli settlers in those bits?
The whole situation is a fucking abortion.
Nothing else has worked because the world stayed silent.Don't disagree but if Hamas want to stop it the best way of standing any chance is as I've said.... release the hostages and then plead to the rest of the world to stop Israel from bombarding. It's an option the have.... what else can the do? Because nothing else has really worked to date has it?
Do you agree with the amendment? or were they justified in your opinion? The murderous actions of Israel and the horrendous unjustified kidnapping and murders of Hamas on 7/10 bring shame on them. The inaction of the world brings shame on us all.
They're not. Israel stopped the process of releasing hostages. So why are Hamas, if they see this happening, refusing to release the hostages?
