Sad but true, a neighbour recently asked me about football, she didn’t realise that Manchester City was a football club, she only knew about the other lot. We really need to get the publicity shit together.

They seem to be turning a corner a little bit recently, in terms of intent if not result.
Hojlund is mad though. I can't think of a poorer striker I've seen play for them regularly. He's 6'3 and somehow physically weak, half of this United team get thrown off the ball.
Bruno is carrying them as he has been for a while. Dorgu looks "okay". Dalot is good. The young lad looks promising, Collyer. Maguire and Martinez are fine.
Apart from that, their entire squad needs replacing if they're to challenge for the league in any form

Did you know Hojlund recently scored the winner for which ever country he plays for?

When they signed Hojlund we were told he was one of the fastest, strongest forwards in Europe. After a few weeks the opta stats had him as something like the 100th fastest player in the league. It also showed after 6 games he had won 2 physical battles.

Any player who puts on a rag shirt ends up on the hype train but fails miserably. Where’s Mainoo this season?

They had some 18 year old defender play a couple of games for them recently that they picked up from arsenal. Obviously he is the 2nd coming of Maldini.

I recently had my eyes checked, and the optician, who was brilliant, picked up on the fact that I have cataracts on both eyes. I thought it was just natural deterioration of my eyesight with age.

The surgery to remove the first one is next week. I’ve been wearing glasses for short sightedness for 57 years, but however much my eyesight has got worse over time, I’m still not as short sighted as the rags have been over the last 16 years.

Good luck next week mate.
