Pep's the best manager ever and certainly seems a nice guy to me, but he's absolutely full of shit when it comes to press conferences and journalist interviews. Personally if I saw him at a press conference telling the journalists that he has two legs, I wouldn't even take it as rough guidance that he's not an octopus.

I don't blame him for that one bit - as long as he's a good manager I don't really care - but history suggests he doesn't always say what he genuinely believes when talking to the media.

My own rule of thumb is, I believe the what rather than the who. I.e I what I think is more believable, rather than who suggested it.

And I find it far easier to believe the club have had no verdict - than all these random twitter excited claims that the club are sitting on an innocent cleared of charges decision, and everyone somehow secretly has heard about it, but there is silence publicly.

that is not correct, we are still in Pep's window 'in a month' includes next week and I reckon we'll all know by then what the club and PL already know. This fig leaf dance being performed by you & Billy is not really very entertaining for most on here tbh but I suppose keeps a few fingers tapping.

fwiw I think it’s likely to be next week. But that’s simply a hunch based on the international break, the passage of time since the hearing was concluded (as an operation of logic, the date of the judgment gets increasingly likely with each passing week), the ‘next month’ comment from Pep and the background music emerging this week from the PL shills.

But I’ve been wrong about these things before and I don’t doubt I will be again.

He has used the word "sentence" several times now. I find it puzzling the club hasn't asked him to say "decision" and instead allow him to continue with "sentence".

To be fair, it's not a fact. It may be what you have heard but accuracy of that depends on the source.

I think he keeps saying 'sentence' because 'verdict/judgment' can be 'sentencia' in Spanish.

If we get a large points deduction and it relegates us, we will be in the Championship. However, if we are expelled from the PL, the EFL don’t have to accept us so we could be leagueless.

To be fair to me (which I know is a long shot as this is Bluemoon), I would never in a million years come into this thread and say anything with such certainty unless I had it from the horse's mouth so to speak. I sort of regret posting it already, but equally if someone else in my position had posted it, I'd be grateful to know.

Why? It affects zero in life, I don't understand why people are so arsed about that word.

Could it be that club find it inconsequential ?
