Last week there was a discussion on there about Bernardo not clapping the dippers during a guard of honour and now they release the below.

Teams don't have to give teams a guard of honour it's just a courtesy, a courtesy Bernardo thought they ill deserved so didn't bother.

Hero status for Bernie always worth another mention

I was just reading the BBC Sport England v Latvia match report and the only mention of Foden was this - 'Tuchel kept faith with Rashford on the left, while replacing Phil Foden with West Ham United's Jarrod Bowen on the right...' despite Phil being credited with an assist and should have had a goal if his teammate had passed instead of shot.

W@nkers!!!

Sky bang on the money again… not!
How difficult is it to get things relatively simple, correct?

Stokie Johnson on BBC North West news reporting on Joey Barton beating his wife. So Barton played for other teams like Qpr, Newcastle, Burnley and Rangers also managed others as well. As it's a negative story the t##t only mentioned one team Manchester City course if it was a positive story it would probably be Burnley not Manchester City.

"Initially, it was agreed that home teams should pay the away side £10, a levy that from 1918 became 20% of gate receipts, mitigating the advantage of having a bigger stadium. It was abolished only in 1983. In 1901, a maximum wage was introduced. Although the cap soon became seen as repressive, players battling it until it was eventually abolished in 1961, the initial intention was to reduce the capacity of wealthier sides to lure the best players to play for them.

A set of rules known as FFP (Financial Fair Play) was implemented by Uefa at the start of the 2011-12 season. Its initial aim was to prevent clubs overspending and getting into unmanageable debt."

Strangely no history lesson about who abolished the 20% gate receipts....

Which club is heavily indebted....

Which clubs were helped by Sky?

If MCFC, let the author of this pile of shite into the ground, then quite frankly, they are disregarding the views of the fans.

This article is an example why this thread should be split, one for media discussion and the other for the agenda…

IIRC it was Martin Edwards who pushed for this, reasoning that as United had the biggest ground, they stood to lose the most.
