Interestingly out of all the major sportswear brands since the turn of the Millennium, we have had the following:

Le Coq Sportif (x2)
Reebok
Umbro
Nike
Puma

Outside of returning to one of the (realistic) options above, are there any other brands people think would do a good job with our kits/contract?

I want Hummel with the chevrons on the sleeves

Castore make some nice shirts and are a Manchester brand as well. Think they have purchased Umbro a while back if they wanted to do another reboot with them.

Castore are scouse!

They make dogshit nasty shirts of low quality and lots of the bigger clubs have fucked them off because of the quality issues.

They have not bought Umbro. Umbro have them on contract I believe to make some of the team wear shirts for them for the teams lower down the leagues.

Awful brand and we’d never touch them.

I've come to the conclusion that puma don't make good kits.

Sorry, but that looks grim. It wasn't pretty in orange, to be honest. But it was better than that. It'd be interesting to see it in Sky blue; the pattern wouldn't be as "in your face".

Tbf their website says founded in Liverpool.

But tbh they could have been founded on the doorstep of the Etihad and I still wouldn't want them making our kits.

Sadly, we'll never have adidas in the medium term due to their association with that shower of shite over the boarder.

I suspect if the Puma deal was to expire in '29 (or indeed be open to an early tender before hand) the best we could hope for would be a return to Nike or a come-up brand with big pockets looking to make an impact.
