Judge the club as champions and four-peat winners: we are not far away at all, but have been decimated by injuries to key personnel in CDM and defensive roles, for the entire season. Even right now - Ake, Akanji, Stones, Gvardiol, and Rodri ALL injured. If that lot had an injury free year, this season, we would not be in anything like the position we are in.

I was talking about football in general. I think there’s been a big drop off as greats have retired or gone past their best. Can’t think of many truly great players at the moment across most positions.

Love him for his flair, goals and assists.
Hate him for his defensive lapses.

When Rodri was injured vs Arsenal we were top of the league and prior to the injury in that game we were very much on top. In the title-winning season, Rodri was critical to our performance level.I disagree.

There's more to City's current performance than injuries but it is a huge part of it.

Yea, you want your centre halves to win those headers but he did it all well and was calm and assured. We looked like we had a proper defence again, and o reilly gave us extra pace and directness at left back so it all worked out well. Hopefully we stumbled across something that works today but we'll seeWon every single header at CB, with O'reilly playing like this he should play in his natural position.
