Looked rock-solid at CB. Having a defender who can head a ball is a novel idea at this club.
Only for Pep to stifle him most of the time and not allow him to attack that much. He’s been one of the best attacking players in the league since he joined us. His talent is wasted at centre back.

I wouldn’t say that being top for most passes in the final third in the PL this season, by 133 over second placed Fernandes, is being stifled and Pep not allowing him attack.Only for Pep to stifle him most of the time and not allow him to attack that much.
Stats don't always tell the whole story, he's been one of our most dangerous offensive players when he's allowed to attack and make runs in behind like the Chelsea game, in a lot of games though he rarely makes those runs and is more restricted.I wouldn’t say that being top for most passes in the final third in the PL this season, by 133 over second placed Fernandes, is being stifled and Pep not allowing him attack.
He has been our most proactive attacker all season.
We generally do play better when he pushes forward frequently. Without him under or overlapping, our wingers are marked by two or three on their own and it makes them incredibly predictable and easy to defend against.Stats don't always tell the whole story, he's been one of our most dangerous offensive players when he's allowed to attack and make runs in behind like the Chelsea game, in a lot of games though he rarely makes those runs and is more restricted.
With Dias at RCB and Khusanov at RB, that's not a terrible back line. Keeps Lewis and Nunes out of the squad at least.I wont say he was great at CB. He didn't have much to do.
That said, O'Reilly is ready for the LB spot so LCB it os for the Great Spartan.
I personally like Nunes at RBWith Dias at RCB and Khusanov at RB, that's not a terrible back line. Keeps Lewis and Nunes out of the squad at least.
