PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I've said this before and I will always believe, that if Sheikh Mansour had invested in one of the usual suspects, there would never have been any FFP, APT or PSR rules.
In fact the money invested would have been eagerly and greedily accepted by whichever of those clubs benefitted (for the good of the game....)
Dirty oil money wouldn't have been a factor at all either.

Another way of looking at it is if he’d bought City, spent even more & had no success, no one would give a flying fuck.

If he’d have got bored, got us relegated & gone bust there would be no rules implemented.

Positives about being found guilty
1. If relegated, tourists and day trippers fuck off, hardcore city fans remain
2. Cheaper ticket prices you'd hope
3. Great awaydays again

Any more?
Yeh the red shirted cunts start turning on each other again unlike now how they are one big friendly city hating bunch of cunts

The competitiveness of English football is folly, and Manchester City have upset the applecart. Between them, Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal, have won the league title 52 times. It is no wonder that they are desperate to besmirch the interloper and to curtail the progress of any team who presents a risk to their cash cow, a never-ending stream of sporting dominance creating a financial supremacy that maintains the status quo forever. The constant shifting of financial rules, and the influence of some clubs on senior appointments at the head of the game, show the Machiavellian attempts to stop us at all costs. That it comes with the support of the media only emphasises how keen all sides are to protect those who generate the money and keep things as they were. These are pivotal times, for us and others, and only winning this case, finally, will put things to bed. The future is very rosy, and the slings and arrows of yesterday's men will be gone as their quivers run dry.

I still don't understand why this Mohammed thing is so important.

Everyone accepts that ADUG got money from somewhere to pass onto City and that the money was then reimbursed from Etisalat to ADUG. So the accounting is clear and, as far as I know, true and fair. So who cares where the money came from? Exactly which rules have been breached by any of that?

I just don't get it. It's just looking for problems that aren't there because people don't understand the real issues, imho.

Fucking lawyers ;)

Edit: Anyway, we have just had a 7.7 earthquake here and I am dizzy as fuck, so maybe that didn't make much sense ......

Slightly of topic and its not a sport I follow. As I think a few Sheikh own race horse stables over here, do they have to follow a horse stable type of ffp ?

Hope you’re safe mate!

Just to your point, you know exactly why, and it’s to colour public opinion on us! No other reason needed than to just have a go

It's never ending it be going on for ever because the media will want it to too because it a massive money spinner for clicks interactions!

.@David_Ornstein on #ManCity’s 115 charges judgment: “People have been saying things like ‘imminent’, ‘this week’, ‘tomorrow’ for ages now, and that shows most of us simply don’t know - probably only a small number involved in the process do.

“As I and others have reported previously, the expectation at @mancity has been ‘spring’ and if that’s the case, we’re into that. However, it’d also mean we might be waiting until late June! Plus, as long as we don’t have anything firm from the Premier League, City or other parties privy to the matter, it’s largely speculation and perhaps subject to change.

“Another thing we don’t know is the nature of the announcement. So, will the verdict be as black and white as many are anticipating? Could it be an anti-climax? How much detail will there be to sift through? What are the next steps? Will there be appeals, and if the answer to that is yes, how long could they take?

“You suspect this process is nowhere near finished yet…”

I agree. Plus just found this below. Clearly, City's enemies do find it critical but without that UEFA report being made public it is hard to be definitive as to why.
