PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

i can't imagine what some of our fans nowadays would be like if they had to traipse down to brighton in a ford fiesta (before the m25 was built) only to lose again, just like last year, by 4 goals.

being a city supporter has nothing to do with winning things.
Blue for 40 odd years.

Being a blue now is different.
We are winners.

The scope is different now.

Beat them all , win the lot " if we can"..

And beat them we will on and off the pitch.

We've always been the light to the red darkness..

We’ll win the majority of charges. Not proven.
We’ll take a hit on a few others. Failure to cooperate.
Will that diminish my memories of our successes at City, not a chance.
Watching us win, lose or draw, after the takeover with my beautiful, thoughtful, caring pal, having a beer, maybe a few too many, before he was taken far too young, but having seen us win the league one last time in 2022, will never be forgotten.
Being at Wembley with my daughter on her 16th Birthday, to see us win the FA Cup, in 2011 won’t ever be erased. The emotion, the tears, the joy, that won’t ever go away.
Seeing Sergio score that goal, with my daughter, son and best mate. Crying, unable to get my breath out of sheer excitement and joy, won’t ever be repeated. Not in my lifetime.
The league cup wins, FA Cup wins, the centurions, the fourmidables, the treble winners.
Seeing Gundo scoring in 12 seconds, surrounded by my daughter, son, son in law and my dearly departed friends son, will live with me until my last breath. Being in Istanbul with my lad is a memory that will go to my grave, and the car park fiasco will be repeated every time I talk about that amazing evening in the Ataturk Stadium.
There are many more I could talk about, so many more.
But, the point is, I’ve seen, lived, loved and experienced the highest of highs watching our boys in blue and nobody will ever be able to take away those memories.
I trust our club and our senior leaders. I hope and pray that justice will prevail. But, and it’s a big but, if the panel decide that it’s been proven that we have breached more of the charges than I was expecting, I will not ever forget the fabulous memories, on the pitch, that our club have given me.
I’ll still be there every other week.
This has never been about financial fair play. This has been about the establishment being shaken to the core when our owners have invested their money and professionalism in an effort to play on an even keel. The media loving red shirts being pushed to one side and so the witch-hunt began.
Regardless, on the pitch, our battles have been won with the best football the premier league has ever seen and likely will ever see.
Hopefully, the hearing will cement what we already know, we are an elite football club run by the most professional executives possible.
Time will tell.

I see this thread has took a depressing tone with people sharing their “I don’t care if we are guilty” stance. Can’t keep up with the emotions, the verdict isn’t even dropped yet and you’re all going mad.
‘When’ we win I’ll be going for a long run around the streets of Leeds wearing a City shirt, when I get home I’ll smash through a bottle of champagne and large steak dinner. Then sit down and wade through social media.

The next City match whether home or away will be another almighty all day piss up.

some perspective...

outside my home right now,
there are 2 sisters aged maybe 50,
the daughter of one of them and her little one.

none of them have a man who remains alive.
they have no home.
they are sitting on the fucking street.
i can, right now, hear the little one crying her heart out.

they sit there every evening at sunset during ramadan.
everyone, all us neighbours,
gives them enough food to see them through the night.

some mard-arses on here don't know they are born.
reckoning their wellbeing is dependent on the outcome.

okay,
when the news breaks it will be enormous,
but it isn't going to make innocent people homeless.
Yep that's perspective.
I put on holiday page on here in January when I was in Gambia.
The poverty is beyond comprehension.
How some people live takes some getting your head around.
Makes you realize what's important.
Been happy.
Having your family and friends is important.
Not this bollocks.
Take care blue

I'm more concerned about that dog, that ate another dog's dog shit the other night, than being found guilty.

We'll piss it.

Positives about being found guilty
1. If relegated, tourists and day trippers fuck off, hardcore city fans remain
2. Cheaper ticket prices you'd hope
3. Great awaydays again

Any more?

I was convinced , that white dog shite was laid by white poodles as a kid.
Every street corner where I lived had many a “dogs cable” perfectly laid on every street corner.
I sort of miss those days - sticking a lolly stick in a dogs egg for pure enjoyment.

Makes a big difference to me. A lifetime of rags rubbing it in that we’ve won nothing, and then when we do win we just cheated our way to it. It would never stop me from loving City, but it would definitely have a big impact on how I view the football club under the current ownership.

Why does it not bother you? Genuinely interested!
Because you and me cannot do anything about it

It is what it is

Fuck the rags, without certain things they would be fuck all

Munich a tradegy which they have milked, the creation of the PL, FFP in their debt riddled favour, media sycophants

Tell rag fans that
