Frank Sidebottom coming on and sweeping the stage, Derek Hatton doing a speech and someone getting up and twatting him.

Morrissey threatened to pull out at the £13 fee saying it was too much. Wilson talked him round.
Amazing to think it didn’t even sell out.

Over FOC’d it last week, went into a pub in Bristol opposite temple meads station. Walked in to the sound of ‘germ free adolescent’ by X-ray Spex then spent the next half hour with a pint and a medley of late 70’s - early 80’s ‘school disco’ hits.

Bloody marvellous! Thought the Spex song had aged really well, until I realised nobody born after about 1985 had an idea what brushing ‘the SR way’ was

after the gig i asked her to autograph the red lining of my leather studded jacket.
she refused and said she wasn't a popstar,
then stuck her tongue down my throat.

Only saw them once though. At the Student Union on Oxford Road. Probably about ‘83.

Someone in the crowd chucked a bottle that hit her on the head and she stormed off in a huff.

Definitely saw them once, maybe 2 or 3 times.
Crass seemed to play at Digbeth Civic Hal, Birmingham, 3 times a year, with Flux Of Pink Indians, Conflict, Dirt and Honey Bane.
