Roll call for 9 minute protest

A supporter simply put it in a list of things that we, as fans have not been happy with. It isn't top of the list, or close to it. 4 kits a season I do think is a talking point though but that's all it was and like a dog with a bone you haven't dropped it. That kit being worn is way down the list of issues at City and isn't anything with tonight quite right.
You replied to me first and every time since and in the end, have agreed with the point I was making in the first place.

Did we all not take the piss out of the rags for protesting when they STOPPED WINNING things, calling them entitled ***** etc etc
Is that we are doing now ?
It has nothing to do with winning things, christ was you out protesting the day they was handing brain cells out? We have had enough, it has nothing to do with on the pitch. United decided about 15 years after the Glazers taking over and their success being limited to get games called off. Off the back of viagogo and Citys refusal to meet with fans groups to discuss ticketing moving forwards to take a stance. It has fuck all to do with matters on the pitch as a cl spot and possibly an fa cup win would be a decent season at the end of the day.

Won't happen now as everyone fucks off with 10 minutes to go :)
I wonder how successful a sit in would be, if it was called for a weekend match not at a ridiculous time of the evening. I'll be watching the rags one on Sunday with interest - it could be an option for us to try before the end of the season maybe.

I simply gave the reasons behind the issue with that kit, that's all.
Good grief. And I'm the dog with the bone. You pulled me up on me highlighting it, started wrongly remembering taking the piss out of United for yearly kits, and then three pages later, agreed with my original post. I'll let your next reply be the last word because I think that's what you're craving.

That post alone just shows you're not being sincere at all when claiming that if it was about kids ticket prices you'd be all for it. You're chatting shit and whatever you perceive the protest to be about, you'd still have something negative to say about it.

Oh, and I'll remind you that last season we were protesting about ticket prices while we were STILL winning things so this hasn't just started since we STOPPED winning things.
I was conversing with someone else, not you, you Dick.

Arthur Scargill is alive and well...

He's sat at his computer frothing at the mouth because not everyone agrees with him...funny and quite sad in equal measures...

We have all witnessed nothing but pure joy these last 10 -12 years, and with that comes the scenarios of what the club decides to do, good or bad, but let's all be honest here for a sec, if the majority are happy to have seen, been, and witnessed what has happened on the pitch, also known on here as "enjoying the ride", then it's done.

Nothing left to see what City achieve in years to come will surpass what we have seen, could equal it of course but not beaten.

There has been no claims to protest or kick off when things have been as good as they have been, but the season we have a downturn things start happening like this, call it coincidence I'm not sure, but my perspective is simple, as I'm getting too old now to care about the politics of a football club, or should I say business.

I've only been interested in what happens on the pitch, yes I have a season ticket, yes I've been going for years, yes I can afford it (DD monthly by the way).

If most are thinking to themselves, but yea wait till we go shit again, the club will suffer then, then so be it I say, not a lot we can do, but as long as we are performing and winning whatever we can that makes me quite content.

I'm not a Mancunian myself, but worked in the area most of my life, and I get what it means for people who cannot attend due to pricing, I really do, but as I said earlier this is a business now, as it is for them all.

We all would go to Lidl for a shop before Sainsburys, that's the way we are and been brought up, but for quality I'm afraid it comes at a cost.
I'm sorry but that's absolute bollocks.

I was part of a group that unfurled a 'Stop Exploiting Loyalty' banner at the end of last season whilst we were Treble winners and en-route to our fourth league title on the bounce.

Just because you haven't been paying attention doesn't mean it's not been happening.

If the arguements in this thread are anything to go by, there could be trouble in the stadium tonight with opposing views (and actions) starting arguments (but hopefully nothing more)

A little confused with your point, what stopped thousands of loyal fans from buying tickets?
You're obviously not a matchday buyer.
Home UCL semi-final 2023. One of our biggest ever games. Season ticket holders were fine, but for everyone else you just entered a lottery/scramble with a couple of hundred thousand others, anyone who bought a membership had equal buying entitlement. No previous attendence required, didn't even have to be a City fan. That's what happened.

You can see how that policy just dumped on those of us going for 30+ years, but didn't have season tickets, and prevented thousands of longstanding loyal fans getting tickets, to the benefit of any event junkie who just wanted to go to a huge match? Utterly shameful by the club, and the moment I genuinely started caring a lot less. I'm not entitled to tickets, but I do expect some loyalty and respect having been there when they needed us.

If the scabs in the stands are upset with the blues who are actually being proactive and trying to help them out - then they're even more embarrassing that I originally thought!

It’s not against the team!!

FULL STOP!!! :0)
You said - in your last post - that it was about the way our management had let us down & they should have done better in the transfer window.

So, is this protest about ticket pricing & using 3rd party ticket agents - or is it about our management team??

Just wondered because it is pretty important

I suggest you go and have a lie down
I'd just leave Pride in WUMming to it...

He's literally just a shit stirrer that pops up on these threads to antagonize people. He never offers any worthwhile debate, just pointless 'banter' posts.

The only thing bollocks here is you saying i ain't been paying attention.

But....and it is a but, I am or never been privy to what goes on behind closed doors, where as some claim they are and know what's what, mainly guessing no doubt.

My post has been highlighted by you for one specific phrase I used, you'd find it hard to disagree with what else I put wouldn't you?
