Roll call for 9 minute protest

will probably get some stick for this but thought that was pretty pointless tonight.

Personally think they’ve jumped the gun and should have waited before the season ticket prices come out first, and combined protests for the pricing and reselling of tickets.

I realize the main issue is tickets being sold via viagogo but we already have 8 other 3rd party resellers.

Very proud of our fans tonight. Huge credit goes to the 1894 group, the food bank group, trade union blues and the reps from city matters.

Huge numbers of fans were on the concourse for the 9 minutes and to me it felt like we came together as fans. we do have a voice and we can make a massive difference. We have more power than some people realise.

To all those who said what’s the point, please kindly F off ;)

Ah ok. So protest after season ticket prices have gone up?

And accept the 3rd party resellers.

I’m glad most of the people at the ground didnt agree with that.

It won’t be pointless if it creates discussion in the boardroom about ticketing.

It’s made the back pages of the press, the national radio, Pep’s press conference, Sky Sports, and will be seen in the highlights for Jack’s goal and maybe discussed on MOTD.

I’d say it’s definitely not been pointless. It might be a wake up call to the boardroom. Then again, it might not, so there’ll be further future protests, protested in other ways, it will grow as well.

Based on the last 10 years it’s difficult not to think that. Never mind the ever increasing match day tickets and 3rd party ticket sellers.

Why wait until we’re all priced out. Doing something about it now.

I’ll give you that - i’m hoping they already got the picture before tonight’s game about the fears over price rises.

My personal view. You're focussing on the wrong thing here - all of this is being driven by greedier and greedier players and their agents - thats where the protest needs to be

That notwithstanding here is the actual impact on the South Stand as seen elsewhere in the stadium...

Before 9 minutes

After 9 minutes (actually 13 minutes by the time everyone had trooped in...)

And I'm an ST holder who spent thick end of 30 quid on Grolsch tonight (the Asahi is f**kin' awful) at a bar which is not in my block, because there is NO bar behind my block!

I was on the concourse for the North Stand 2nd tier and plenty were taking part there. At least 30-40 went up the steps through our entrance tunnel 9 mins in. Well done to South Stand especially on seeing those pics - hopefully as a collective the message was received. Grealish scoring in front of a half empty stand quite the image.

Well done all. I’d say about 8000 entered the ground on 9 minutes.
Certainly a lot came in but I'm not going to lie it looked pretty empty even after they did. Generally a poor turnout tonight and I think the wrong game was chosen for this action.
