PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

I don't personally have the strength to worry about other clubs' PSR positions, but, I'll be honest, the inconsistency in the treatment of City and Chelsea makes my blood boil.

No wonder the club execs were astonished by Simon Cliff, we’ve given them so much rope to hang themselves they are wondering why we are doing them slowly.

It's like a car park where you're not really supposed to park but everyone does, all the red tops parking when and where they want and City decide to park there too.

Out of the bushes steps a parking attendant alerted by the red tops who give City a ticket, now City know you can't park there but thought they would follow what all the other cars did and just carry on.

Guilty for parking there but authorities turn a blind eye to everyone else parking there, it's as bent as fuck :)

why do I have the feeling if Uefa caught us with something like this selling that smaller stadium where ladies team playing to Man City Limited from under CFG Ltd for 100m to fit under the Uefa ffp rules we would be subject to a CL ban for a season at least but when others fail Uefa FFP its tiny fines and minor charges.

you do have the feeling others could drive a bus through FFP these days and get a fine of 1-2m pounds despite it is clear break of rules especially with some of the heavy spending that caused it like Chelsea.again the media plays a role here, as rags wasnt labeled cheaters for their minor breaches last season Chelsea will not get anything like we got in the press.

I very much expect Chelsea will be 10s of millions above whatever their Uefa FFP allowance for season 23-24 in spending. but it also sets a precedent if they get a settlement of 5m and be done with it.

dont forget when Chelsea self admitted the Abra crimes Uefa took few months and also settled with Chelsea on those for 10m fee. PL has been looking at that case since 1.5 years at least since Uefa did the settlement on it ffs.

yet if there were some new emails about City paying agents off the book between 2016 and 2019, I bet there would be a big Uefa disciplinary case on it and a long legal battle with expulsion at stake rather than some tiny fines.
they even hit is through CAS for 10m for non-cooperation which is lot less serious than what Chelsea self admitted which also got 10m fees.

and now this new FFP breaches also significantly more serious than our non cooperation but again Uefa will be very soft I guess.

so many proof we are handled differently. if its not the skin colour of our owners I dont now what else.
Sadly the colour of skin is still a deep routed bias/hate that seemingly can’t or won’t go away.

The line seems to be that it’s ok for a Middle East person/business to sponsor a team but crosses the line when owning an English club.

It makes no sense but the hate has to come from somewhere.

If the news on this is good, and our owners know it. Does anyone here support the idea of holding back publishing it until the day Liverpool win the title? I'd love that personally.
That is a great idea, their title run in is possible the most unforgettable ever, having being dumped out of the cups, everyone accepts they have won it and nobody really cares.

I'm not sure the colour of skin line is as pertinent as people make out. I don't remember any outcry about Sheffield Utd being taken over by Saudi money, but this was because they were no where near to threatening the Cartel revenue streams or stopping them winning trophies

Maybe not pertinent but it must come into the equation.

I’m convinced that it is simply because our owners have a cohesive long term business plan that involves significant investment into the team and the infrastructure instead of the standard yank system of leeching money out of the game.
If you read and hear what other clubs’ fans say, their lack of understanding, and fear of, how a different business plan works is palpable. (Must be cheating)
I wouldn’t deny the pervasive racist element though.

It definitely there & didn't one of the EPL chairman call either Khaldoon or Tixiki a terrorist. For me though, it's that the centurion season, domestic clean sweep & four in a row that's never been done by the cartel which is driving their green-eyed jealousy

Love this, but sadly I think all these online 'news' sources are as in the dark as we are. A lot of them seem to be putting out stories over time to accommodate every possible outcome - presumably so like the proverbial 'stopped clock' they get to be ' right' and claim to have had insight whatever happens

They're utter bullshit. Today, it'll be "City have won"; tomorrow, it'll be "the PL have won". A couple of days there was one saying we were going to be relegated, and face a five year transfer ban.

The leagues no room for racism is a joke.

Must not include boardroom level nor a club whose owner is from the UAE.

Need to change that slogan to:

Some room for racism depending on the shirt colour.
said this myself for a while. they have weekends of no room for racism but then create rules to target certain owners based on their colour. Its a case of do as i say not as i do.

I wonder why Chelsea aren't getting the same vitriol ? oh that's right they joined the Yank mafia a couple of years ago, so it's all good.
