Premier League Games | 5/6/7 April '25

Not sure what was best for us but it wasn't a Villa win unless Forest now hit the wall.
it is what it is, was just looking at villas fixtures and they have to play newcastle and chelsea have to play newcastle to, so whatever the result is today it has its pros and cons,we just make sure we dont drop 3 points tomorrow, a draw isnt the end of the world though

Game on. Villa sleeping so far this half, I suspect a Forest win/draw would be better for us?...would mean 1 less team possibly chasing that 4/5th spot

Jota "Grealish" Silva's eyebrows have a life of their own.

Villa to win for me

Makes 3rd easily achievable and even second not out of the question, providing we book up!

Do you still have to be 10 yards away at every free kick? The reason I ask is that every match you see players stood 3 or 3 yards in front of a free kick causing the player to have to pass backwards, and the refs do fuck all about it

Villa still have us, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Spurs, United, Fulham (and Southampton) to play. That's a tough run in and they'd have to do really quite well to accrue more points than us in the remaining games.

Forest's fixtures are comparatively very winnable - so I'm not too unhappy with them dropping points here. If (big if) we win our game in hand tomorrow, then they become very catchable and have no margin for error in a situation they're not used to being in.
