BUT its a clear way of combating how we play and we have to be a team/manager who can also play against it...

If we are going to play a high line with fullbacks up on the edge of teams areas of course team are going to play long balls into the channels or over the top for fast pacey players....simple reason is cause it works!

Doesn’t work often enough given we won the previous four PL titles, does it.

N0 it doesnt....but in one off matches it can

But im talking about people complaining about the way other teams play - ie hoofball/longball/kick and run whatever...Why do people get all arsey about how teams play against us..... ?

Im not talking about our success which is something completely different so Im not sure the point of your comment? Im talking about it being a clear way to combat our high press - jesus even Pep did it once or twice (remember when Arsenal came and pressed us high so we started to go longer over their press?

teams can play however they want against us and if it works it works and we have to find a way to combat their tactics....

yes absolutely agree

But that wasnt the point i was making so again Im not sure what your point is?

I was saying its a way to combat the way we play yet some people seem to want to complain about the way other teams play against us...which is quite frankly very odd

You seem to be after an argument and have picked the wrong one......guessing its the stress of derby day for you
