Agree and Savi for me please. Doku is starting to fray my nerves. Where his little jink stutter used to be cool... in the absence of much if any pay off it's sort of starting to piss me off.
 
I don't understand why anyone would pick Khusanov ahead of Nunes for the RB, unless you want someone to match the speed of Vini.

Talking of not paying off, Savs shooting is genuinely appalling, up there with the worst I’ve ever seen at city, reminds me of Adrian Heath.
 
I can't say I'm looking forward to this after the last game. Hopefully we see some better football tomorrow and get 3 points to keep in the hunt for CL. At least it looks like the weather is going to be half decent, so even if the game is shit we will make a day of it.
 
Sounds like Foden is injured from the Derby. That's from Pep's press conference (post embargo) but it's difficult to understand his language.

Pep's response to journalists questions is confusing. He does not express himself clearly.

months of seriously mental and physical hardship to recover,
with hardly any game time under his belt,
and the consequences to not only himself but the team itself if he got injured again,
you'd stick him in the starting eleven?
at home in a game we really should be winning without having to do anything too drastic?

Older players again who seemingly know the system but lack the ability to carry it out v new players who maybe don’t quite know the set up but do have the ability!!!!

Pep stop fucking around. The team needs energy and belief not a lesson on how to bore the shit out of everyone. The tactics ain’t working this season so mix it up.

Expect more of the same. Need few moments of brilliance to get anything. Khus and oreilly as fbs. The rest don’t care.

Need a win, will win but it won’t be pretty.

2-1 just and after we gift a few chances.
 
the way pep is, I bet he plays Kbd every game now till the end of the season, just to give him a good send off! fine by me, but don't but gundog or Kova next to him. is Gonzalez that bad? I thought he looked good those first few games. Also, maybe give Nunes a chance in midfield, at least he can run. I'm glad Foden is out, not cos he's injured, but he needs a break, a week in Tenerife?
 
I feel we need around 16pts from our final 7 games to make the CL places based on pts per game so far. Not easy to see how we get there with Pep's constant chopping and changing and our quite sterile attack.

We can't lose to Villa and I would expect we play to make sure we don't. He will want to win the other home games, but it's looking tougher than I thought it would be. Maybe that game at the swamp was an incentive to kick on, but I doubt it based on the season so far.

That's quite optimistic with our performances, and it's still possibly not enough.

Not sure how accurate these are but lineups are already out on Flashscore. Quite happy is that’s the actual lineup, Grealish in the 10 role.

Also Guehi and Lacroix out for palace, that back 3 looks very suspect we SHOULD have a field day against them if we turn up
 
Please pep don’t play a 3 of Gundo KDB and Kovacic. Let’s be bold and go Oreilly nico and jack.
