Maybe we should go 2 down every week so the safety first football has to go out of the window. Was encouraging to see us keep going second half aswell instead of putting the handbrake back on at 3-2, that improvement in the goal difference could end up being vital.

Nice cameo from Bobb, hopefully we dont see the backwards boys Bernardo and Foden back in the team next game.

Great to see Kevin roll back the years, found something extra for those 20 minutes after Palace's disallowed goal, seemed like he was running on pure rage.

Thought Gvardiol, both Nicos and Marmoush were all very good aswell.
 
What a strange game.

We started brightly but as usual got torn apart from their first chance.

Very poor defending from Lewis again. If he's going to play it can't be at right back, he's a liability.
The second goal was poor defending too, no one marking the scorer and Ederson just has to be stronger there.
They had chances for 3 nil too and we looked shellshocked.

I really think the booing pissed off Kev, especially, as he stepped up and took over.

A great freekick and a Marmoush goal brought us right back into it and we had other chances before the half too. But it was a very weird half.

The goal just after halftime gave us control and we didn't look like losing after that.
We played pretty well overall and scored a couple good goals and could've had more.

We are still lacking in certain areas and still very suspect when teams break at pace though.

But well happy with the win and still on for Top 4.
 
Great win in the end, but please stop playing Lewis.
Be nice to play Palace in the Cup Final, but there’s a lot of football to be played before that.

Very right he does my fucking swede in gone from being one of my favourite players to absolutely exasperating the last couple of seasons. He nearly made me burst a blood vessel last week the amount of times he ignored Nunes in acres of space on the overlap to pass it backwards.
 
Good shout by Gundo pre match to not only think about tactical positions but get back to the old basic aspects of the game like hard work, fight foe each other, stick together and win as a team.

It's exactly what we need and look who much energy we had in our game and how much fun it was watching.

Our old City is back!! :)
 
A 'pain-free' Kev makes a hell of a difference. Well played City.
 
Nico O’Reilly is gona be world class. I’ve never seen someone so lanky that is so good with the ball at his feet. Pep really needs to give him a chance in the middle soon because he could make it his own he’s deffo got the potential.
 
Going two down in the first half indicates nothing. We did that during the previous seasons when we were top dog. And we nearly always came back from it.

Coming back from it today means a lot. We have that fight and will to win. Hopefully.
 
We woke up at 2.0 down and started to play on the front foot driven by KDB, Look, if you can guarantee KDB's fitness and injury free we must get him to stay for another season at least, Yes changes are happening in the summer and KDB has said he's leaving but it maybe not too late to have another talk and ask him to say.

If City and Pep are 100% on what's coming in the summer then KDB leaving was made by KDB and there was not an offer on the table from City ?

believe me, today City was down and out at 2.0 down and waiting for a VAR verdict to be 3.0 down and something happened ? it's the sort of moments that change a game and you go on to say that was the turning point that got us a top 4 place and possibly a FA Cup,

It is a flicker of a switch and something happens ? the player's manager the fans the whole club feels differently,
I wish we could bottle it and use it when it gets dark,
