Crystal Palace (H) | PL | Post Match Thread

The energy and fight after that offside goal was fantastic. I thought we were good on the ball throughout but were wide open defensively - was too easy to score. We were excellent second half, they did come close but the offside trap was better and they were more switched on.

The uncs showed loads of energy today - really unexpected

You are entitled to your opinion mate we was close to being 3 - 0 down at home to Palace at the time you had every right to be annoyed. What's the point in a forum if we all have the same opinion.

At least we shown courage and came back. Great result for us in the end.

I recall sarr I think it was missing a very good chance from about 10 yards but after the disallowed eze goal they had next to nothing.

In saying that marmoush also missed a couple of guilt edge chances layed on by Kev.
 
I thought we were playing well (defence and keeper excepted) and creating clearcut chances from the very start. We played some lovely stuff. I never felt we were going to lose the game, even at 2-0 down.

cracking result, just really impressed with the desire, echoes what gundo said this week, tactics are important arent the end of everything sometimes you have to just want it more

Like watching two completely different teams. Granted, Palace would have struggled to keep the ball even if they had superglue on their boots, but where have performances like that been all season?!

Proper captain’s performance from KDB, led by example and absolutely rolled back the years. Marmoush great, Nico great, loved Bobb getting straight in on it when he got on - all-round top performance worthy of seasons gone by… for an hour.

The problem is needing the rocket of the disallowed goal and nearly being 3-0 down to get there, and for all those complaining about whingers and moaners - it’s not unreasonable to call it out when we play like the first half an hour, and the extremely high standards we have set ourselves the last few years are being missed by a considerable margin.

Going to be an good rest of the weekend though now - will be nice to be able to enjoy MOTD for once this season!
 
Fine margins with the disallowed goal to make it 3-0.
It seemed to galvanise us knowing that the game was potentially over.
