Just needs to start sinking themFancy an outside chance for Aberg here. He seems to have birdie chances on every hole so far!
About time he started playing it safe. Leave the timber in the bag.Where it belongs! He’s been in the bunker about 3/4 times now off the drive
His course management is poor. He should be taking 3 wood off the tee, play the percentage shot. He only has to push if his opponent starts to catch him. He’s been in the bunker about 3/4 times now off the drive
Feels as if he is going to attack everything and either win or go down in flames. Fortune may favour the brave. His course management is poor. He should be taking 3 wood off the tee, play the percentage shot. He only has to push if his opponent starts to catch him.
Don't get me wrong, I love it when Rory attacks a course, but playing it cool would force dechambeaus hand, and possibly cause him to make mistakes. He needs to be smart. Having said that he's just nailed driver on 8 so what do I know lol.Feels as if he is going to attack everything and either win or go down in flames. Fortune may favour the brave.
Hope Rory loses. Do you think an Irish guy would won't an Englishman to win.
Do you know where he is from?Hope Rory loses. Do you think an Irish guy would won't an Englishman to win.
It's his choice and we should respect that. I've always thought he was a decent fella, regardless of his politics or football preference. I enjoy watching him play golf, simple as that reallyYes, I do. He's a proud Ulsterman. I'm sure you don't need telling of the complexities of the politics in Northern Ireland. Choosing between representing the UK or Ireland was something he didn't want to have to do and initially wasn't going to compete in the Olympics because of who it may upset. Like boxing the golf is governed in the North and Republic under the same body. Not wanting to miss out on the games for something that he isn't responsible for he felt he owed it more to those that contributed to his development and consequently chose Ireland. I don't begrudge him that.
The crowd have gotten less partisan the longer he has stayed ahead. The Augusta crowd is knowledgeable and appreciate that they’re on the verge of watching something historic, but that might make it hard for him to play conservatively riding that wave of emotion.Don't get me wrong, I love it when Rory attacks a course, but playing it cool would force dechambeaus hand, and possibly cause him to make mistakes. Good observation and a great point that. Adrenaline must come into play. He probably just goes into A game mode. The crowd have gotten less partisan the longer he has stayed ahead.
