Yeah, people who thought we’d replace De Bruyne, Gundogan, Kovacic and Bernardo in a single window were never being realistic. Realistically, only 2 will probably leave at most.I actually think Gundo is top of the list as right player to keep out of Kev, Kova and Bernie. Still think he has enough to offer on and off the pitch to work keeping around for another year. We just can't be playing him as a sole defensive mid or a double pivot with another unc.
Agree, still absolute class.Been getting better and better-rarely injured. Glad he’s staying.
I think the difference is salary. When you are kicked out by other clubs you appreciate the original offer better.two years ago, the club refused to give him 2 or 3 years extension, they offered him I think just 1 year because of his age.
Not sure if the club is doing the same mistake again with Kevin.
Agree. Over the full season, I think he’s been comfortably better than the others. He’s looked exposed at times, but that’s been largely due to issues with the setup. I haven’t seen anything to think that he’s physically done - still moves pretty well.I actually think Gundo is top of the list as right player to keep out of Kev, Kova and Bernie. What? Barca forced Gündogan out? A team of the season player, one of the best midfield performances in La Liga last year? Give me a break..Many,many, many players have been forced out with 1 year left on deals, Barca did it to Gundo just last year, I feel like we should still get rid personally, but if he stays then bernardo or kova should definitely go.
If they all stay it will ruin another season, straight up. Pep will play them over new signings and we'll come 4th
Part of the reason Gundo came back was to become a coach after 2 seasons.Should just let him go anyway, he's gonna be 35 next year. I don't think a worse version of current Gundo can help us chase titles.
That's great, he can join the coach team with Fernandinho next season.Part of the reason Gundo came back was to become a coach after 2 seasons.
He's going nowhere.
