Born in 86, and lived my entire childhood and adolescence in their golden era. I still have to pinch myself sometimes. I would have taken a draw before a derby most years, and now we have matched or surpassed everything they've ever done and there will be lads (and lasses) having their first beers and kisses who don't remember United finishing above us. When I was a kid growing up we almost always beat them home and away in the late sixties/early seventies and they were relegated for a season in 1974. It also took them 26 years to.win a league title, although they did win a few cups.

Whilst I wish him nothing but many more years living in misery watching the Glazers take the rags to even more lows, the thought of the BBC and Sky wankfest on Bacon reaching 100 would be unbearable.
