That would have been unthinkable growing up.

Just wished the kids and they wished me back a happy St Beneathus Day.
In their life time the shite have never finished above us.
In fact, they had no idea they were once better than us.

God how I'm envious of kids growing up city fans right now. We were the shitest we've ever been whilst I was growing up, finishing above them 12 years on the spin seemed completely unfathomable to me then, I was buzzing if we sneaked a 1-0 win at home in the derby once every few years.

There's now adults that realistically have never known city to be beneath united, let's hope they reach Middle age still not knowing.
