PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Yep, my thinking too. If it's to do with non-cooperation, Mancini, or even Fordham then none of that is serious fraud IMO. Disguised equity funding is a different matter. And to be honest, I can't see any reason why we would do that as there are perfectly legitimate ways to fund our sponsorship deals. That would be more amateurish than anything Swales ever did FFS!
Forgive me if that has been asked before, but on the Mancini stuff, he came in before FFP did he not? We spent money for fun under his early years and all because we could. If that is the case why would we have to pay Mancini off the books? If you could spend what you wanted we would have no reason to disguise any of his money?

I agree with you 100% mate. I was just talking hypothetically if they're able to prove he received some of his salary off the books. It makes no sense to do that for the reasons you mention though. I mean, we included all of Roque Santa Cruz's transfer fee and wages on the books just 6 months or so before we appointed Mancini!

Oh I know, I wasn't questioning you mentioning it. It was more a question in general that I have never seen an answer to yet you always hear people mentioning paying Mancini off the books.

Your latter point always sticks in my head.
The idea that some of the world’s most powerful and wealthy businessmen who have a prestigious global business portfolio which would make your eyes water, would indulge in sub Arthur Daly financial shenanigans and even leave a trail so obvious that the goons and cretins at the PL couldn’t miss it.
Not having it!!

Agree why would these people risk their reputations on a little football club ? Isn't over only 35m as well.
Other owners have put in 100m's in free loans.

I don't think City fans will be angry at all. Our club has been targeted, this has been the biggest witch hunt in football history. Innocent or guilty the Premier League must investigate every other Premier League club in the same manner, or this is genuine prejudice.
Any hackers want to go fishing?

They will say no grounds to investigate.

The clearly spliced, manipulated and ilegally obtained emails is enough to warrant attacking the club by plastering 115 all over the media which allowed the cheating narrative to burn bitter and bright.

The puppet is controlled by a collusion of business owners looking to keep the gravy train and stifle competition.

The leagues neutrality and competitive nature stopped existing once the anti competition clubs controlled masters.

Thats the real story here.

Crazy isn't it. Other clubs are cheating WITH the help of the PL. Whilst we get charged for something last decade, and the media say nothing.

The thing I really don't understand is how come City are charged for possible wrong do over a decade ago. Yet the pl could look into dippers hacking because it was over 6 yrs since the crime.

I don't understand why more and more people, press/media arent calling the pl out over their selective way of running the league.

I know I live in a simple world in my head but surely forest, Everton etc should be calling this out. In my head City's charges should be thrown out due to the way the league chooses to implement its rules

Liverpool paid a £1 million settlement to Manchester City after their Premier League rivals made a complaint that their scouting system had been hacked into.

The confidential settlement took place in September 2013 after it was reported that City had employed computer-espionage experts to see if the system had been spied on.

My understanding is that the parties still don’t have the decision although that obviously could change even at 9.30!
I’m bored of cryptic messages
I don’t read every post on this thread as I have better things to do - especially with it being flooded with off topic bull shit.

I thought 9:30am this morning related to something specific.

Or that Stefan was inferring there could be something imminent this morning.

What was the point of the post?

I’m bored of cryptic messages is the very definition of a pointless post.

It's not Stefan's fault if you fail to understand a very simple statement.

if you think the premier league are selective and bent you want to look at what the FIA are like with F1. Makes the premier league look like the most diligent, honest and professional organisation in the world by comparison.

Most probably correct. Mancini will be time-limited, imho.

I do think we have to take into consideration everything the PL have done in order to make these accusations - to the detriment of the PL as a whole. Several clubs who really did need investigating were left to their own devices & to be honest, the examples we’ve read on here about how certain clubs “actions” were approved or written off stinks.

So I have to disagree with you. I think we’ve been set up big time.

And YES. I’d like to play the scousers “victim” card. It seems to work well
