£71 to watch the best football team in the world wether its City, Real Madrid, Barca is cheap
Have you seen concert prices, the theatre?
Make your mind up. Yesterday, you admitted that matchday tickets are too expensive and that’s what we should be protesting about. Now you’re claiming they’re cheap.
You can get individual adult match tickets for Bayern for as cheap as €19. A Dad could find a weekend where there are cheap flights to Munich, get match tickets for him and his Son for a game at Bayern, for cheaper than he could get the Matchday Bus and two tickets to a City home game in his own city.
You can get individual adult match tickets for Liverpool for as cheap as £9 (they have 10,000 a season at £9 for adults and they’re only for people with an ‘L’ post code:
https://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/an...e-ticket-initiatives-for-young-and-local-fans).
Then there are the extortionate price of child tickets at City. They’re anything from £32-62 across the stadium. Almost all children’s tickets at Lpool are £9 and at United are £13.
City are doing it wrong!
Also, if you read what this protest would be about, it’s also about Season Ticket availability. City haven’t issued a new ST ticket to a City fan for 5 years.
The seat next to me was a ST holder of decades who was finally priced out 2 years ago and it’s been a different person who’s bought from the club’s ticket tout partners next to me every game since. Not a single one of the visitors next to me has been a local fan, only two have been from Britain, many are fans of the opposition or an opposition player or the seat goes empty (and I’ve never been able to buy it for a mate or my Dad through City’s official ticket site, it’s greyed out for every single game).
It being a fan of the opposition, an opposition player or the seat going empty is not fucking good enough.
People of an age to get their first season tickets, can’t get one. Dad’s who’ve got kids who are of an age to come to the game now, can’t get them STs.
So who the fuck’s going to support this club when we’re dead?
