On form we win this but the question is whether last week was a blip or the start of something good. Hopefully the latter.
Soon find out!

I was impressed with parts of our performance last week but then I watched Palace get smashed by Newcastle and I wonder if they just lost focus.

Everton are tough to beat so it will be a good win if we get it. They are one loss in last 12 league games and that was to the dippers in a very tight game that they could have won.

Our away form has been rubbish this season so it’s time to put that right.

Just reminiscing about Goodison Park, my first time was the 1981 FA Cup Q/F, Unbelievable atmosphere and the emotions when Paul Power equalised was Unforgettable but also I remember a midweek League Cup Q/F and being in the upper tier of their Main stand, very steep view and a naughty night coming out, lost 2.0 but great memories....anyway I am going to bed a bit pissed in preparation for my last visit to Goodison Park....C'mon City X

He wouldn't know how to play for a draw and I don't think he should be thinking that way anyhow. We need 3 points they don't.
Dont know, he did a pretty good job v the rags. That was the definition of a do not lose first performance. It was weak and I hated seeing it from him.

Slim chance, but could do with another ticket for today. Anyone got one going?

Who are the fit squad members not travelling to Everton? Pep was lamenting their absence saying he had 23 in training on the embargoed PC. I reckon there might be three with only Eddy, Ake, Stones & Rodri not in contention. Reis (if Akanji's back in) Bobb & Echeverri?

Stefan Ortgea;
Matheus Nunes, Rúben Dias, Joško Gvardiol, Nico O'Reilly;
İlkay Gündoğan, Nico Gonzáles, Mateo Kovačić;
Kevin de Bruyne, Oscar Marmoush, (F/L), Jérémy Doku:

Bench: Scott Carson, Rico Lewis, Manuel Akanji, Abukadir Khusanov, Phil Foden, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish, Savinho, James McAtee.

City win 0-2

Makes you realise how many have to leave to accommodate new signings - Phillips & Walker are still under contract too.

We have desperately missed a fit and firing Walker.
