PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Just saw some Ipswich fans in Guardian column claiming that they should fight to keep 18th position so when City are relegated Ipswich are the one who will remain in the league.

When a city fan called them out, they just replied we all know you cheated - and relegation is the least you deserve. And even if you are cleared it’s because you paid bribes. And they “know” this and the other club supporters nodded in agreement.

Media disinformation always succeeds. Look around what’s happening world. And the red cartels have succeeded in mudding the water. It is difficult to have a football discussion without the charges coming up.

Hopefully the trial goes our way but it would require some effort to clear our name in football discourse.

We don't appear to have visibly fought this, in fact we seem to have actively courted the journalists who have spread these "lies", our club have either underestimated the power of constant propaganda or they just don't care.

If the evidence of even the clubs apparent ignorance of their own fans feelings of their treatment is to go by I am not surprised by other fans being bold when the press and media have continued their onslaught with seemingly no reply from MCFC HQ.

Once there’s a verdict, and it’s widely known, malicious comments can be dealt with. As everyone knows, in the public clickbait arena, EVERYONE is guilty until they prove their innocence!
