Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

Because it's a bargain for the expensive games and you leave the club to suck up the reduced income on the unpopular games.

A season ticket is a contract with the club - you get a cheaper seat as you promise to come to the majority of the games, or pass your seat on to friends or family. If you can't/won't do that, then you really shouldn't have a season ticket.

So many people on here are bleating because they won't make the games. If you can't make the games, don't have a season ticket, or get a flexi gold and pay for the convenience of picking and choosing games.

Caveat: For long-standing blues with changes in circumstance, there should be a way to suspend their SC on receipt of appropriate evidence. Loss/Change of job, serving in the forces, kids off to uni, etc. Sell those on you for a year or more as Value Gold or Value Flexi Gold, with no ongoing right to the seat.
If the seat is filled by a blue with a valid membership there shouldn’t be an issue as to who is in the seat. The club are introducing these measures to reduce the number of season ticket holders and get rid of fans selling tickets at face value. It’s all done to maximise profit at the expense of long standing fans, fans they’d soon be relying on if we get done in the 115 case.

If the club didn’t rip fans off with match day prices and prioritise everyone but the hardcore nobody would be complaining. We even have tourists in our away ends ffs.

The substance, timing and gaslighting of the club statement makes clear that City Matters have been played, once again, by the club.

The club thanks them for dialogue. Freeze prices (which every club is doing). Then drop a bomb they've not consulted on (alongside the Viagogo announcement, blindsided again).

Then take the phone off the hook for a 4 day weekend, leaving CM Reps carrying the can.

All Reps should resign and there should be no further engagement till after the Football Governance legislation is passed. The club will have to grow up and engage meaningfully, because atm CM are puppets on strings.

Correct. As I posted yesterday, I have three season cards on my phone and they are replicated on my son's and dad's phone.

As long as it is only used once for that game, it registers attended.

Did you have to contact them about arranging that, or did all three just download without an issue?

I only ask, because I have two on my phone but a third one has never worked. Tried multiple times and always get an error message about only being allowed two.

It’s not a major issue but would be preferable not having to traipse around with two phones. Especially in no coat weather.

She's too busy doing video shoots for the club talking about how wonderful and caring they are.
What's happened to the Official Supporters Club? Too busy accepting hospitality and preferential treatment I'd suggest. We need a new Centenary Supporters Association. City Matters is designed to control and neuter dissent.

Bollocks, look at how they’ve fucked about with the times for the Bournemouth game, from a Saturday at 3pm to Sunday at 7pm, so any travel etc is totally fucked up with people having work the next day, yes we maybe in the FA cup final but the point stands, train prices are extortionate at last minute to change, making it harder to drive to games and park. The club would like zero season tickets just for tourists, going g to be embarrassing when the new stand opens and it’s fucking empty midweek in the CL because a lot of locals don’t go to it, good luck finding 6k of tourists to fill it.

Was Bournemouth ever 3pm on Saturday other than as the default timing for all weekend games?
The game was likely to be moved as soon as the FA Cup 6th round draw was made.
The main issue with the game is that the PL and broadcasters should be able to identify a time and date for the fixture in the event of us being in the cup final.

I’ve had a season ticket for around fifty years , I’ve never once promised fuck all to the club or entered into a contract to attend .

One of the main problems is the club don't provide the details, and we probably won't know much more until the full terms and conditions are published, which was 1st August last year.

For example if you do transfer to F&F and they don't attend is that a strike against you?

If you list on the Ticket Exchange and it doesn't sell is that a strike against you? It wasn't this season but info released already assumes there will be willing transfer takers under 3 hours from kick off.

For those who can't go last minute, will the club put something together so you can give your ticket for free to a fan who wouldn't be able to attend otherwise? (Will they fuck) Or do you try to get rid for nowt and get the compliance admin suspending you?

I know those who share tickets will probably end up having to get a "match phone" if not on plastic so it still counts towards the 10.

Is the club/arena planning any other s.106 agreements where they pay to make it harder for fans to attend, agree it all with MCC and then do a token consultation?

The known unknown is will be playing in one of the two Thursday night comps as Sundays aren't the best for some fans and public transport options can be none-existent for the 4.30pm kick-offs if the trains are not running.

Will there be anything hidden in the T&Cs which they haven't mentioned like in 2023/24 where if you use the Exchange too many times you can lose your ST?

Surely from a legality stand point they can't enforce the terms and conditions when they aren't produced beforehand? Can't change the goalposts after people have already renewed. Too much of a grey area with some of the stuff you allude to. I imagine if you fought it hard enough they'd back down, but are counting on people just being accepting of it.

I don't think any legality comes into it.
If they wanted to take everyone's season ticket away and sell only matchday tickets only, there is nothing we could do.

I will be in the City Store from about 17:30pm on Tuesday before the Aston Villa match, nearby to the stairs to the second floor. Brian, who is the Matchday Member representative, will also be with me.

If you know anyone who isn't as comfortable with technology, or would rather chat face to face, I am very happy to pick up any concerns about the ten-game policy. Likewise, very happy to deal with any wider issues too. I'm very conscious that the Club only shared the information via social media and on the official website, so there may be many people still unaware.

Didn't speak to anyone, I do the card management for all three of us.

I just signed in to my dad's account using his/and my phone and downloaded into wallet.

Perhaps three because one is under 18?

Will the actual SC rep make herself available?

If people share a SC this is the best way to do it so that both of you have the ticket in your wallet. This is a loophole which is almost impossible to close because an adult will always have their kid’s ticket on their phone as many kids especially those of primary school age won’t have a phone.
