Presumably because they were down for the Monday night game and Sky don’t want to move it.

To be fair, if they have to move it, they will. But they’re hardly going to go to the trouble of shifting it purely to inconvenience them.

March 1970, Wembley West Brom.

We left early my dad, his 2 mates, and 10 Yr old me. We got as far as the M56 before M6 junction when the car We were in broke down. They tried to fix it, but couldn't. They decided to give up organise a tow back to Blackley. I couldn't take it. I cried and sobbed like a baby. Finally my Dad said we would try and hitchhike, the two of us.
After standing on the hard shoulder of the Motorway for what seemed ages a car stopped and we were on our way.
I remember it was a big posh car, or was for us. We got as far as Luton, then we got another lift to Watford ( I think). From there an unpaid train to Wemley.
We won.
Now what my Dad had not said was that we were potless. We had to get a train to London, then another to Manchester and hid in the Mail van. At Piccadilly we just walked past the collectors.
I remember it all so clearly.

Hook or Crook get there if you ca n.
A Little similar to my day….I was 9 and we went on a Fieldsend coach that broke down at Watford gap….my dad who was the last person that would ever hitch hike was never going to let us miss the match and so we went to the car park and hitched a lift in a little mini….the driver was obviously going to London ( not sure if he planned to go via Wembley) and we sat down just as Jeff Astle scored.

Glad you got there like we did..
Being little kids and sticking thumbs our helped alot

It looks like Liverpool will probably be winning the league at the exact same time we’re playing Forest.

So those whose lives are impacted by nasty Twitter bullies mocking our empty seats, can rest easy that no one will probably notice.

That last sentence reads like a bit of a forced connection tbh.

I’m absolutely buzzing for this one, I’ve mentioned on here a few times that I keep everything crossed for a lower league team at home in the early rounds of the cups so I can take my lads.

My Dads still got his season ticket and managed to get us the “cheap” tickets for this so we’re all off down to Wembley. It’s my 9 year old lads second visit after the Sheff U semi a couple of years ago but my 6 year old lads first time at Wembley and he’s so excited for it!

After going down there countless times myself over the past 14 years I do understand those who see this as a missable game but to see the look on my lads faces when I told them we were going really reminded me of why we love this game so much.

A trip to Wembley at 6 years of age ay, I’d have fucking snapped your hand off 40 years ago for that!!

Enjoy everyone, I know us 4 will, win or lose!! CTID

Who cares if people are going or not?
It's personal choice for a semi final.
I wasn't going but changed my mind. So what.
People are struggling financially, people dont know anyones circumstamces.
Trying to shame, guilt people into going is pretty low. As for the fannies who dont like the empty.seats jibes, grow a pair and just smile.

Agree but at the same time there is no need to post reasons for not going.
