Don't know enough about Woodward or what he did, but appointing Moyes certainly wasn't worse than sacking him, my firm belief is that had they given Moyes longer, he might have built something with the money the others have wasted. Maybe the football wasn't what they wanted as fans, but he needed to stabilise things first.
Feurguson jumping ship having regained the title after we won it, was their biggest disaster and he knew exactly what he was doing, he fucked them over, yet they all still revere the man.
Sadly they'd still be "safe" even without the 4 points we donated them this season.
