There is a lot to be said for that, but being absolutely shit doesn't stop them getting the odd trophy.

I know we got into Europe on the back of a fair play award or something years ago, but that was when we were barely out of the championship really and hadn't been in Europe for decades so it was a buzz.
I'd be fucking embarrassed to be in the CL after finishing just above the relegation places in the domestic league. That's probably because I have at least some sense of shame and self awareness I suppose - so the rags will be happy enough.
 
Woman from Durham University just been on the north east news recalling when she met the Pope. She said he asked her what football team she supported. Of course she answered "Manchester United ". At this point the Pope started laughing and replied "at least you have a sense of humour ".
Not quite the response some of our posters on here would have us believe would be his response however still not bad.
