Seat Counters - 2024/25

Exactly this. If tickets are £71, the club can't resell it and a person can't go they should be able to sell it for £30/40 themselves. Somebody gets to go to a game they couldn't otherwise afford, the ticket holder gets some money back and Pep is happy the ground is full.
Surely if they can't sell it themselves then the club can do what they want with it?

If anyone doubted we give large amounts of seat to agencies, look at the empty seats all together near the half way line in the 3rd tolier tonight, these weren't ever on the planner.

I was going to take a picture of that. Shambles from the club.

Not to mention the group of grey tracksuited people at the front of NSL1.

I’ve just noticed that. They have the same logos on the trackies.

How does an entire 30 plus block of seats all together get sold for a class A game?

Basically the resellers effectively have risk free profit.
Sell it on for a huge markup for hot games, or simply return it for the odd game where the tickets don't sell.

Theres a few groups of tickets like that in various parts of the ground (not normal corporate). Theres one between the family stand and East stand corner

You don't have a clue what I think about our owners. For years I have been critical of our executive because I know who they are and what they represent. I think they run City as a commercial operation just like all the other Premier League clubs. Some fans want them to change their spots. They won't. The only way to get cheap tickets is through regulation, or by protests.

The way to make an interpretation is to make observations, and then make an interpretation that is consistent with that observation. Some people are allowing their suspicions to get the better of them and to over-interpret what they see. That's a very common behaviour.
Did you observe the rows upon rows of empty seats together tonight? What is your interpretation of that observation? I think we can put to bed any notion that it was only season ticket holder no shows.

I was listening to talksport on the way home tonight and they were saying all the empty seats were a fan protest. I don’t if that’s true but if it is it was very effective. There were thousands of empty seats. From my seat in the East stand I had a clear view of the Colin Bell stand and it was virtually deserted. D there were hundreds of empty sets in level two. The. Club needs to smarten up and listen to the fans. They are never going to fill all the new seats.

They did. They got it wrong. There wasn't a stadium protest. But it looked like it on TV. It just shows what the fans have started, and how the media has latched on to it. Then they made the Emptyhad jibe. But followed it up by saying tickets were £71 each, and City fans were voting with their feet. A City fan rang in on his back back home down South. He said he and his mate had paid £88 each for 2 tickets. It then cut to Nunes being interviewd.

Get yourself there on Sunday if you can this team needs us more than ever at the moment
Need a tin hat for all the mocking we are going to get...half empty stands at Wembley - for all the valid reasons - it does make the club look like a shit option ...and agents do take note of this when persuading their player to go to a 'proper club...with a proper fan base' etc... i know its tough, expensive, loads of games - but we struggle more then most to get people out in all honesty... it harms the club in the long run

Spoke to a member of staff who I know personally and there was 7,000 empty seats tonight. Maybe this will finally hit home as something definitely has to change. I thought the atmosphere was alot better tonight in the south stand.
